you could just bump one of your other threads instead of starting a new one everyday unless you have 3 of these for sale
Unfortunately Iam a Roofer also
Might be worse off exposing the heads. Most of those fans are belt driven so maybe changing pulley ratio may help with a tight cool air induction.Generally theres a hole in the sled cowling that lines up to the fan with a tight fit sucking cooler air from outside. You probly know most of this but I like the idea of this project.Wish I had some pics of some of the contraptions we used to make and rid
We messed around putting 1 and twin cylinder sled engines into homemade buggies when we were just kids up here in maine and the problem we had was those engines do not like the warm weather. The fan on twins aren't enough if the temps outside are above freezing.Maybe with the correct warm weather jetting and getting the fan to spin faster it could work well for extended warm weather running.
Heres a pic of my adapter.Made it as short as possibleAlso throwing on this head on the left when I get time to mill it down a little more.
I have like $150 total into the bike right now and it does a little over 35mph with me (240lbs)on it.Iam going to put the nu reed block on and do some light porting to get to my goal of 40mph.I may make my own intake to save costs(not anytime soon) and make it exactly how I need it (to match nu reeds and brake cable holder).I need to make a new gasket for my clutch cover/chaincase cuz its leaking
Iam probly going to run the stock one because I have it and its free but the other thing is if I eventually get the weak ends intake I can get rid of the adapter because I don't think its helping my low end any putting the carb further away from the reeds.Even if I kit it I'l probly still run the cheapo 20mm carb because it seems to work ok and the jets are only $3.Trying to keep my mope
Theres two little holes on the outer case and the spring sets in one of those and the other end just sits on the outer arm. When assembled correctly the spring and arm are on the outer case with tension keeping the arm tight against the teeth and you need to turn the flywheel a little bit to align the arm when putting back together.
Yes it does face the opposite direction as the stock ones but from what I've been reading it is still better.Maybe it is a total waste of time idk?
Iam putting Urban reed block on my Nc and kind of wondering which intake would be the best.I've already dremeled the stock Nc intake to match the Nu reeds but should I use the Nu intake or spend the money for weak-ends Mikuni intake or save money and use what I got.Iam using a cheap 20mm carb with a short homemade adapter to dremeled out stock intake. Is spending $60 on an intake going to mak
Most moped and motorcycles have either 8mm or 10mm and a lot of aftermarket ones come with both.Ebay has tons of different styleshttp://www.ebay.com/itm/Scooter-Moped-Vespa-GY6-Dio-ATVs-REAR-50cc-90cc-150cc-Skull-mirrors-Black-10mm-/270922318072?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f143a80f8&vxp=mtr#ht_3101wt_2216
Yeah well I don't want to quit smoking either but I've seen that ad 100 times
This website wouldn't be here without advertising or would cost a fee to be on here
Sounds like you need a longer cable.I had the same problem when I went to a bigger carb so I was able to use a dremel and grind off a piece of my cable housing to make it work. The cable itself was long enough to work but the housing wasn't causing it to pull the slide open.Maybe make a cable using bicycle cables, they are usually cheaper.
Ive tried a float, screw, and pin from one carb I have to a cple others I have and on some it works fine and others it doesn't allow the float to move. Also noticed some floats are clear/yellowish plastic and some black rubber or something so different yrs maybe little bit different parts.A lot of these aftermarket parts are made cheaply and they don't list them correctly or send whatever t
If I had seen it for $200 I would've bought it but for $500 idk.Maybe offer $350 or something if you really want it.I like peds for a cheap hobby so Iam not the type to spend 500 on one(even if I had it, jk on my earlier post) or $200 for a f'in exhaust pipe for my $50 mopeds.
Are you talking about this one.I wish I had the money cuz it would be mine!http://maine.craigslist.org/mcy/3152949561.html
Let me guess you say one on CL for $500.Kinda rare for Maine
Guessing Med/Large.the tag is cut inside.Did find a sticker that had 1985 on it so assume its 1985 vintage
If you could get it on there it would hang down pretty low.Maybe you could cut it and weld it up so its sideways similar to the original but a lot of work for a stock exhaust. And you would need to rig up a kickstand if you remove factory one
If you have a welder you can do whatever you want.Use the header pipe off either exhaust and weld it to your original muffler or any combination that you want to make.If it was me and I had to weld up a new exhaust anyways I would find an old pocketbike pipe, dirtbike pipe,or some other moped expansion chamber exhaust and hack/weld up something that is gonna give better sound and performance. Then n
I agree this helmet is cool and unsafe so maybe I will throw it on the shelf with the other cool and unsafe stuff
Bump to get that software spammer bullshit off the page
Noboby interested I guess I'l take it back to the dump goodie table
Got this at my local transfer station(dump) and it won't fit me.Could use a good cleaning and its got some stickers on it.It seems to have a crack on each side covered with tape and a crack in the visor(you can see in the pics)so not sure how well protected your face would be in a crash but if anyone wants to pay for shipping(probly $15 due to size and Iam in Maine)they can have it.Not sure
Maybe you got bit by a tick.Joint pain is a symptom of Lime disease. The ticks are everywhere the last few years.Up here in Maine you gotta check yourself anytime your outside.Hopefully you don't but I'v known a few people that had same symptoms and after getting checked had it
