I have one if you need it. It works great but I would replace the seals since it's out; they are pretty old

My friend is selling this streetmate. It's all there but has some issues and not running. He said best offer. Located in Maryland outside D.C.

I have a stock crank if you're interested. Pm me if you want it.

Could also be leaking from the vent hole on top/left/rear of the engine case. Mine does that but still runs spectacular. i just always make sure that I have enough fluid/type f in there.

What would the other symptoms of a case leak be? Would running at a lower head temp be one? Because I'm barely crossing 300 on my temp gauge? I usually run below 340f on hot days but now it's like 280-310. No loss in performance tho, its hauling ass.I reshimed the clutch bell/etc and found out that it was already shimmed perfectly. This took away most of the rattling but slowed it down b

not new, but these bearings are fine and work great. Would be even better with a cleaning and lube. Seals didn't leak when on the bike but they are definitely not new but may work. People usually replace the seals when doing a crankshaft since they are in there already.

$135 for a rito plus $20 for the bearings= $155.treats super stuffy kit+$125 plus shipping=@ $140Thanks for the bump thoOBO

Nice useable crank for sale. $45 shipped

I've read all the threads already regarding this and there is NO DEFINITIVE ANSWER in any of them. Some say it's normal, some say it could be a crank seal, and others say install lightened bell or treats lightened starter plate.I've just done a full rebuild w/rito crank, new seals/bearings, and case match to polini. Bike runs superb and revs all the way out to max speed. Only things

No, it really was extreme. Especially in higher RPMS because thats when the exhaust pulse was at its greatest so that the stingers contact with the swingarm was more rapid.
Dani Depp — 8 years ago
Found out what the cause of the vibration was. My exhaust bracket that secures the rear of the exhaust to the frame had come loose and misaligned causing the stinger of the estoril to hit the swingarm. Funny because that was my first instinct but I didn't catch this during my preliminary inspection. Great thread though IMO, as we probably covered all of the possibilities of what causes extra/

5000 + miles on this block between this polini kit and a treats reed kit says no kaboom. The fact that I can feel the vibrations rather than just assuming mopeds just vibrate a lot assures me that I won't go kaboom. My shit still runs great, I'M JUST FEELING VIBRATIONS IN THE HIGHER RPMS! I wanted to discuss it to hear some other opinions to help me figure out the most likely possibiliti

I'm still on topic... vibrations??
Dani Depp — 8 years ago
It's not a new build but the bike has been only ridden probably twice a month since the winter started. I've been battling this stupid superclutch which just fucking sucked for me then I gave in to the treatmetric clutch and things got a lot better. The only change that I did lately was replace a stripped cylinder stud and retorque the head on. Could the head not be lined up perfectly an

Maybe it is the stock crank starting to go. I know I know bad idea stock crank w/ kit etc, but it's been soo good to me. I was planning to drop the engine soon to do some case work so might as well do full rebuild w/ new crank. Been using the low gearing as it complements my estoril nicely and pretty much gives me the acceleration and top speed that i want. I doubt the clutch is unbalanced or

I'm experiencing a lot of vibration through the bike. The vibration is soo strong that it's affecting my grip on the handlebars. I really feel it in the higher rpms/ close to WOT and at WOT. Set up is E50/polini/4petal/estoril/treatmetric clutch/15x40/19phbg.I can't see anything touching the frame from the engine so I think it's something in the rotational assy. Any suggestions

I have 1 that is only seized but all else is fine. $18 shipped?
Dani Depp — 8 years ago
i've been looking for some useful reviews as well. I bought one when they were on sale too. Installed it with the weakest springs and ran it with regular type f fluid. I only took it on a short ride so far. It slips great. At first when the clutch would engage my takeoff was kind of weak, but as the fluid heated up it got better and it also felt really clean in the higher rpms up to max speed

The metras are flat port exhaust and hero's are angled. The hero's also have a different intake setup. Both kits can be bored out too. They also don't make metra 65's anymore. The metra 65 I was offering Jason easily hit low 50s with great torque from the jump and I wasn't even done tuning it(ie. Super rich, intake leaking, squish too wide).
