Local pick up only -the blue frame has everything you see on it (including a minty gas cap)! The tank has very minor surface rust that has started, but nothing at all major. Located in MD - PM me if interested.

Got that one. A local moped shop that just does scooters now has a nice lighted Motobecane sign, but he won't come off of it.

You have a 2007 scooter listed in your profile. They are more trouble because they are sold with titles and not "old". There is a place in mount Airy that will do it. It is called my airy title I think.

I'm in new market, md. I was able to register 4 moby's online for 5 bucks each. No trouble, no hassle.

Obviously there is some exaggeration in there, but that was how it was talked about when I was in ( and we all knew it was not quite that dramatic, obviously). It was just referencing that at times when that round would hit bone or something it was not uncommon to exit in an odd place relative to its entry point, and also the way it breaks up it can have multiple small exit points. I'm no exp

5.56 is what we used in the m-16 when I was in the marines. Hit the chest and bounces around until next thing you know it flies out of your big toe. Very accurate, and damaging because of the bouncing around. Strange to outlaw when my 308 can do just as much damage at longer range and far more accurately.

Ike,Your one of those thy won't speak to what is right. I placed an order on thanksgiving and got it 2 weeks ago. I was in no hurry, so I did not push them but eventually enough is enough. When you buy something online, after let's say 2 weeks something is wrong. 77 is probably the most disorganized business that I have ever encountered. I can assure you I wil never buy from them again,

I have the opportunity to snatch up a clean, barn find Cosmo Colt. I am not familiar with them, but I would like to hear what people think about them. Junk, great, best moped ever, worst moped ever, easy or hard to find parts, etc.. I am not sure the exact model, but it is a 1980 top tank.Very clean, $200 but I may be able to haggle to $150.Thanks!NV

Don't feel bad. I ordered a carb 6 weeks ago. I emailed after 4 weeks and got the we are behind response. Last email, no response. I'm in no hurry, but it is ridiculous. Bad service is bad service.

Definitely you need new mounts. They are sagging so far that it is probably allowing the variator to fall into the plane o the pedal. Also, chances are your motor spacers are missing, or installed incorrectly.

You will need to make a puller for the engine mounts. You need a couple of heavy duty washer just the same size as the OD of the mounts. I use (2) of the washers from the end link bushing replacement kit available at any auto parts store (they have typically been red in color, and come in an 8 pack) The end link bushings can be used as new mounts, but that is a whole-nother story - search the form

Thank you Reb, and sorry for the delayed understanding. When I saw "hardwire", I recalled the wiki post that has "hack all of that shit, every wire", and thought you meant go to head just headlight/tail light.I got the old harness out, and my 5 way switch is en route from our friends at Treats. I have drawn myself a wiring diagram, to incorporate everything, but until I see the

Thanks for that Wayne. Unfortunately, I agree with you on this one. I know I am not understanding something that has been explained. Thanks for bearing with me.

I don't want to lose any functionality of brake lights, headlights, horn, kill, etc; so hardwiring is out.If I figure that the brown wite was originally 6V to the brake light and horn as shown in this diagram, could I just tie it in with my white wire and run 12v to it or split it off the white wire and regulate it to 6volts?http://www.myronsmopeds.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/Motobecane-12

I put an extension on a socket just slightly smaller than the diameter of the opening in the case. One or 2 firm taps from the outside and out they go. Make sure the socket is large eneough to rest nicely on the metal part of the seal, but small eneough to go through the opening in the case.

Anyone know the answer to the brown wire? This would basically allow me to use my stock harness wired as original, yellow to my lighting (white wire) and the original brown from the old stator would go where? My guess is to ground it but I don't want to fry something if I'm wrong.

C'mon Reb - I just got good at pulling them apart, searching for the little ball bearings for an hour, then reassembling them to perfection! Actually, with careful disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly they have worked quite well for me. I no longer have decomp, so I will need a kill.So I understand to run the yellow to my bikes white light wire, and to include the yellow wire on the rectifie

Can anyone help me out with a question regarding the wiring on the CDI? I have searched the forums and answered 90% of my questions, but I have yet to find one that fully addresses keeping the stock harness and what to do with the brown wire.I understand everything, I think, with the exception of a couple of things. This is a stock 50V - 12V and it currently is wired as a stock ped would be. I have

Mine worked well. This is taken from underneath, and I have not tightened the bolt with the rubber bushing yet. The mounts slipped over my bosses perfectly. I was a little worries, as I saw the review that you left Max, but I was lucky. The lower bushing slid in with a little encouragement, but all in all I like them thus far.

LOL. The fork covers on my moby 7 do the same thing....sometimes I think it will blow up!
