So a bit of an update, I got a new chamber bolted it on to the stock header, it's currently 30" from the head to the closing point of the expansion chamber, basically exactly where the stock header was. I also have the 15.15 carb on, the low end is better but I'm topped out at like 25 on a flat... Any suggestions on how much I should cut the header to get more top end speed? Can I g
its definitely a 50501/a the plate is still readable and it says it, I actually got the SHA 15.15I took the idle screw out and made a shim to fit eh carb on the intake out of some flashing, fits perfect, and I just added an extra barrel adjuster to my throttle so I can use that as my idle adjustment. The carb fits perfect with the intake riser I made a few months ago. My next issue is just getting
If you look at the photos I put above, the first photo was is aligned where the stock exhaust met the header, that dark piece of the header was inside the old pipe. First question I have is should that immediately get hacked off? Then move up from therE? I can weld I know I can fix it it I cut it too short but I dont want to have to tack it back on if I don't have to. I just need a length to
I clamped it to the header, it runs, but looking at how long the stock header is it looks like the pipe is just making the air shoot out the back of the new chamber and acting exactly how the stock pipe did
So i got this sweet little exhaust to put on my 28mm stock 5051a header. The thing is, I know nothing about expansion chambers and powerbands. My instinct is that I want to cut the header so the air has a chance to experience the chamber. Below are two photos of potential spots for the chamber to go.Also, if someone can point me in the direction of information on header size, expansion chambers, a

I also realized that the puch pipe i put up earlier would have to mount on the left side of the bike which is a no go, probably wind up with this:https://www.treatland.tv/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=ev%2Dmorini%2Dpipe%2D11552%2Dsilver&CartID=10
Im looking for some top end speed, a lot of the riding I do is on windy long roads with few cars, and not that much stopping, but its hilly.I got that bike exactly how it is, did some electrical replacing on it to get it running and now it runs fine but with the Promo going at Treats im trying to buy a pipe now so in 2 months when I get time to fix it up I have the parts....
I can weld, and there is a place to mount it. I just need a suggestion on what pipe will suit my needs. Right now I dont know if i should get that puch pipe or splurge for that 35mm EV turbo....here is a pic of my current setup, I think the puch pipe would fit fine...
or maybe this..https://www.treatland.tv/morini-EV-racing-TURBO-pipe-p/ev-morini-pipe-1412-yellow.htmbut does the 25 vs 35mm ev turbo difference really make a huge difference in pip performance?
So i have a stock Motomarina seabring with a Morini M1 and a del 14.12.Looking to get a bolt on upgrade for a little speed. From what Ive read, I can bolt most Puch pipes onto this bitch. Treats is running a %10 sale so I wanna get something for the new year. Anyone give me a good suggestion? Im pretty sure I could also run any pipe from a Minarelli as well.Heres what I was thinking from a Puch en
Im having some trouble getting the SHA carb on my sachs intake... I raised the intake with a spacer like described in the WIKI and it made it possible for the carb to fit but it is TIGHT. So tight that I cant run the idle screw on the carb, i had to take it off completely. I even tried putting a controlled dent in the frame to allow the mix screw to be there. Im still waiting to order my 15.15 fr
SUCCESS.After trying it all, I went for the points. Took the magneto flywheel thing off and it was filthy, rust and corrosion on EVERYTHING. One of the soldered points had even snapped off. Re soldered that, filed down the points a little, adjusted the gap and BOOM. Spark! So psyched. Put the "Ducati" coil from an old Vespa on there, it worked, original plug worked and I'm flying. N
The beauty of having 3 other running Peds is that I can test parts before I order shit. So.I took and identical, working, HT coil, complete with working plug wire, boot and plug off my Yankee peddler with v1, put it on the Sebring and still no spark. I checked all the wires around the ped and everything seems fine... What next...I'm still a novice when it comes to these things so some of the
I have a parts ped, an old Vespa, with a coil that has "Ducati electro" stamped on it. It looks that same as the one I pulled off the Sebring... Think I could use that? Also, still wondering what Ngk plug I should use...
Thanks for the help! Im gonna check all this out when my power comes back on. God damn hurricane. What NGK plug can I swap that Bosch out with? If I read right B6ES is an equivilent.Any more tips, thanks!!
Picked up a 87 motomarina sebring yesterday, great shape but i cant get spark. From checking it out, there is no screw inside the CDI to screw the spark plug cable in to. Investigating around, I noticed the screw that should be inside the CDI was just hanging out in the other end of the plug cable.Anyway, should I replace the CDI?Can I take the CDI apart and get the screw connected with the wires
Thanks so much. So you didn't space your intake up, just made a hose to lengthen to length of it so the carb got to it?Really appreciate the info!!
Awesome! Few questions:You have the stock 50cc?What size jet are You running? How far did you space the exhaust off the stock header? What Kinda speed you getting?got a picture of the bike?THANK YOU
So after months of having my eagle 3 with sachs 505/1a sit in the garage with a FILTHY tank, I washied it out with The Works and its running solid. Now to make it go faster than 25.Its all stock, square carb and all, and I want to make it go just a little bit faster.I read the wiki, and plan on raising up the intake so it can accept a dellorto SHA carb, and also read that i can put a new exhaust o
My bike was four stroking so i took my air filter off and replaced it with some filter foam and zip ties and now it rips.but i think I'm running hot, my problem is that there is no easy way for me to hit a straight away at WOT in my area to do a plug chop, close enough to home. can i just run it on the center stand to get an accurate reading? or does the engine need some resistance from the g
any suggestion on what kinda tranny fluid i should get for it?the carb was FILTHY. Like almost moldy. filled with shit, so im gonna do another cleaning, maybe let the carb cleaner soak in there overnight, then blast it out with the air compressor. The problem with my choke is that i have no choke lever, so i can even pull the damn thing, all i have is the chose cable sticking up and ziptied to the
Picked up a Egle 3 last night, with a Sachs 505/1aPut a new spark plug cable and new plug on, (the kid i bought it from said it needed one)Went to clean out the carb and it was FILLED with this white crusty gunk shit. Cleaned all that out, got it pretty good. Put new fuel lines on and drained out all the old gas.It starts, but its a pain in the ass to do so. Then once it starts it always cuts out.

so i got the EV turbo, put it on, I think if anything, it hurt my top speed haha. The guys at treatland told me the turbo would probably help me out morso than the Mamba, because the mambas so huge.new air filter too. So im a little bummed. Can someone give me a quick answer to how some stronger springs from Ed will help me?
