Does anyone know how to put a crank back into the case without the honda tool, its discontinued and i need to put my case back together. Or does anyone have a crankcase driver i can borrow, part# 07965-1480001
I have already taken the case apart and replaced the bearings, I have a new crank to put in with a new gasket as well, don't i need a tool to slide the case back onto the crank? Go ose not sure if thats what you were describing, kinda hard to picture if your talking about putting it back together or taking it apart.
Does anyone know where i can get a pa50 case puller or know of another way to get a new crank seated into the case on both sides without messing bearings up, thanks.
need help with hobbit, I have great spark and timing is perfect. I am getting fuel into the cylinder, it was running awesome and the only thing i changed on my PHBG is the main jet. Compression is good, it should be starting and running but its not kicking over, very confused any ideas?
thanks, points are brand new, I have a stock coil and one i just got from steve that he tested and works great. Plug is brand new, all wires look intact and in great shape. The black with white that connects straight to the coil is getting power which leads me to believe that everything behind it is fine, am I correct in thinking that? It seems pointless to trace wires if I know power is getting t

need help, replaced my crank seals, and points, i am getting power from all three wires that are supposed to be powered from the stator, the black with white that goes to the coil gets power, but i am getting no spark, that would leave me to believe that I need a new coil even though mine was working hours prior, so I bought a working one anyway, im still not getting spark. Does anyone know what size sealed bearings fit a hobbit front wheel I bought two different ones from treats and neither fit, maybe size, brand, and or location to get em, thanks
how much have you ran the carb, may need to be cleaned out, take the spark plug out and watch the consistency of the spark, if its consistent you have a fuel issue (carb) it it isn't consistent you have an electric problem, stator, points, maybe condensor doubt it, just trace it back from spark plug to magneto
do you have a working coil? if so how much shipped to 98372
I wouldn't expect more than like $400-$600 for it depending on the buyer
The weight of an item does not determine its price, its the supply vs demand, and what you want hasn't been made since 1981, if you want it I would suggest paying what they are asking.
your post doesnt say any details on which bosch coil and what specific condenser, do you possibly know the part numbers, or the vehicles they were made for so i could go find them, thanks.

harder to run them while hot uphill, possible flooding it out, then after sitting for a bit the engine clears out then runs fine, just a thought.
doesnt leak oil anywher, really believe it is an air leak somewhere due to it starting in choke and reving out.
well the head and kit seals both looked good, I'll buy them just seems weird to me if i have good compression and they look fine why they would be bad. Are there any other seals that can go bad? already tried spark plug
checked the compression and its good, and fuel is good so im guessing i have a leak somewhere after my carb but everything looks good i can't find it. Could it possibly leak inside the lower part of the engine?
well, the fuel flow is great, i put a new main jet (92) in it and everything seems to be fine in the carb, i took the head and kit off and everything looks great, put it all back together, it still starts in choke and revs to the limit and dies when the choke is off, stuck im out of ideas need help thanks.
my parma kit with 21mm delossi carb hobbit runs great and has for months, i was riding it going about 40mph and it all of a sudden bogged out then stopped running now it will only start with the choke on and it will rev-out and if i turn the choke off it will just shut down, need help thanks.
Thanks for the help, ya its not the gradual power increase flickering i mean like on and off flickering I think Travis called it with the bad ground somewhere. I got my tailight from a bike shop I believe its off of a suzuki they just had a box of them, had to customize a little bit but works great. more pics to come
all my lights are working, in idle especially they are flickering pretty bad and seems to be somewhat in sync with the rpm's, I am guessing the points need to be replaced? can anyone confirm this or have any other suggestions. thanks
there are LED bulbs made for 6v, if your not too picky
one of them is but even if there is only one good bulb shouldn't it still light up or do they all have to be good for them all to work?
