Anyone kitted and want to sell your old D piston let me know.
no its just regular gasket paper from autozone. I think it was 1/16 in but not sure.
yeah. i had to use 3. piston will hit the head if you dont. just go to autozone or somewhere and pick up a sheet of gasket paper. its cheaper
Does the intake port need to be widened on a 90cc brn kit for a 24 mm intake and carb?
Damn good idea! Done son!
Anyone know who has any 24mm V1 intakes?
where did you get the 24mm intake? I just got the same kit and the largest intake i can find is on 1977 and its only a 21mm.. I have a 24mm mikuni carb for it and finding a 24mm intake is killing me.
still got the stock D piston by any chance?
It has a Minarelli EV Racing Turbo Exhaust on it. When I rode it today I removed the air filter and it was great. No bogging down but when in the sunlight you could see a fine mist almost come out the carb where the air filter goes. but no bogging down...it has whatever jets it came with
ok....so i just kitted my V1 with the 90cc kit high comp head and mikuni flat side. over 20mph the thing runs great with great throttle response. but from a dead stop to 20.....is redonkulously slow. I am still breaking the kit in and tuning the carb but i cant really tell much of a difference. Anyone have experience with these carbs?
yeah....i have one with a broken skirt as well. looking to one in ok shape. thanks though
Anyone kitted their D and want to sell me their old stock piston...hit me up
it has something to do with the forks and i can figure it out...different wheels tires and tubes...has to be the forks...just cant figure it out
I am working on a rebuild from the frame up. Its a concord Invader with fantic motor front forks. I have put everything back together and when I put on front brakes the wheel bonce like crazy. So I scrapped the old spoke wheels and slapped on a set of mags. Same problem. I have tighten the forks all the way....seem even and tired and wheel look fine. What gives?
I have a complete V1 set up for trade if you want
no i have the rings from the old piston
yeah...thats why I want to stick with the D piston
If anyone has kitted their 505 D and wants to sell the old piston hit me up!
Flip the ignition coil.......and spark like a mother!
I have the same bike and its all stock except I put a 16mm dellorto carb, 15mm intake and proma grand prix pipe getting 35mph. the pipe is awesome for the $! I tried a 21 t front sprocket and not much difference at all because it being a 2 speed. good luck
