Tonight i saw $2.90 in the Fredericksburg, VA area. Can't believe that Edison, NJ price and they pump the gas for you!
Mass market is one thing. Apple fanboys/girls are about as close to being part of a cult as you can get without actually being in a cult. I mean, c'mon, camping out year after year just to get a new phone the day it goes on sale is nuts especially since you can get the same phone a couple of days later without having to camp out. Most of those items that people camp out for (Tickle Me Elmo
WTF does this haveta do with Mopeds? This should be in Off Topic. Noone really cares about you iSheep who blindly follow a marketing company.
I remember a time when the Joisey shore was full of mopeds, places actually rented them to noobs.Man, I'm old.

Yes, this is what I am curious about. I have an '81 Honda Passport that I bought back in '85 or '86 from the original owner, and did not get a title for it. Since I was only going to use it on my parent's property that we camped on, I did not care at the time. Now, nearly 30 years later, I sure as hell cannot remember the seller's name, so I wonder if Vermont would go fo
I believe they were, but there are others who are more knowledgeable than I.
Cheapest way to do this is with a Bernz-o-matic mapp-air torch. I have brazed with one, it does get hot enough to braze with, but takes time. Ironically, the Bernz-o-matic mapp-oxygen sets are no longer sold in my area, but that would be the next step up in price, yet still relatively cheap to get started. If they are still available. O-A is the way to go, but is easily $300 to get fully setup
Murray was another Kromag Puch, similar in design to the JCP Pinto and Sears FS. Before someone posted a link to the shop manual for the FS mopeds, I was using the Murray shop manual because there are many similarities, although there were some differences between the FS's and the Murray's that not everything in their manual matched up with what I was seeing on my FS. Don't ask me
You're not doing anything unless you pull it completely apart and clean every little bit. Been there, done that. To be blunt, if you do the job half way, you get half assed results.
He's European and has an accent, he's gotta be correct. Pook
My wife's cousin pronounces it "Pook". He's European, from France, so he must be right.

Use the thinnest you can get away with. If that's 5w-40 or 10w-40 or whatever.
Enco frequently has their 3 ton arbor press on sale for $150 w/ free shipping.
Eastwood sells something like that. I seem to recall its more for show and has minimal scratch resistance.
I didn't want to wait in line. :)
You don't know what the fuck you're talking about. NYC banned this biker club from their city, even throwing up roadblocks to keep them from getting into the city, because they have a history of starting shit. They were pissed off and took it out on a guy in an SUV. Too bad the guys he ran over will likely survive. Too bad he didn't have a gun as the police took entirely too lo
Saw your "Kill this fucker" thread. Those bikers got less than what they had coming to them. If the SUV driver had cut off those bikers as you insinuate, then the bikers should have let him go and be the ass that you feel he was. They didn't have to escalate it. Once they escalated it, he had every right to do to them what he did and more. This is why we need more liberal gun l
I assume you have a 14mm Bing already? What kind of shape is it in? I might be interested in buying it from you if you decide to go with something different. Mine has the top screws stripped out and I ruined it when I went to Helicoil it.
Those are Chinese Lumens. Divide by 10. :)
It's "Battlestar", not "Battle Star". It's a class of warship. Frakking Frakker. What the Felgercarb would Starbuck think? (The REAL Starbuck from the REAL BSG, not the re-imagined Frak that SciFi put out). Am I the only one with enough Yahrens to remember seeing the original BSG when it was broadcast waaaaayyy back when? ;)
Fuck no. Why the fuck would you want to fucking do that, any fucking way? Your vocabulary that fucking small that you can only say fuck? ;)
As a long time Iron Maiden fan, I gotta say excellent re-use of old lyrics! LOL
LED flashlights have modes (hi/various "lows"/ strobe/etc.). It can be done on one of these replacement bulbs pretty easily, actually. The driver just has to put out fewer amps at the low setting than the high setting. I'm thinking about modding a 4 XML bike light to two modes (high/low) for use on my son's dirtbike since he likes to ride it past dark and it has no headlight
I understand completely and do not mix up the rated wattage vs. the actual wattage. I mean that an XML can take 3 amps and, with good heat dissipation, be good to go. That was the reason I questioned the 1/2 amp, and it's also why I questioned the heat. I figured at 1/2 amp, the LED probably does not need heat sinking, but if the manufacturer pushed the LED to its max, I am sure it would b
If it is only drawing 1/2 amp then it is not putting out its potential (assuming it is an XML). But then there would be heat issues. Have you run it for long periods of time? Any issues with heat?Do they make a high/low version?Paul
