I've got trhe airsal kit. The post holes are larger than the posts on the cylinder and head. When assembled, I turn the crank by hand. It turns a couple of times, then binds and is hard to turn. Is this due to poor alignment of cylinder on the block? Thanks for any ideas. ben

I've got a 77 puch maxi w/ a airsal 70 kit on it. Does anyone have info on the carb? I'm having trouble tuning it. It runs fine, but seems like it should have more power. And it will not idle w/ the wheel on the ground. Does anybody know any good starting points for settings of the idle and air needles. Thanks ben

Forum: Repair
I have a 77' Puch maxi. I rebuilt the motor w/ seals, bearings, rings, etc... The ped starts and idles fine. When I try to power up, it bogs down heavily. I've cleaned the carb three times now. I think its a carburation problem. Could be ignition. Any advice is good. Ben H
