Max Max Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> Enschede is that where the Impossible Project is?I'd have to Google that as I am not aware. There is all kinds of political and cultural stuff going on in Enschede all the time. Check my other Flickr pix for more on Enschede. Enjoy.

My moped is speed restricted to 25 km/h on the bike lane/sidewalk infrastructure. It's more than fast enough in town and between towns within fifteen or twenty km for a day trip. That'll consume about two hours travel time round trip. I use to ride to work, a 45 minute jaunt at 25 km/h. You do the math. The biking infrastructure here in my area is freaking awesome. Outrageously rig

You could always invest in a new stock Tomos moped and be free of any mechanical worries for years. Enjoy.

I believe that outside the weight differential the main difference is the gearing. The scooter has infinite gearing and I have two fixed on my Tomos. Enjoy.

Lol. At the rate I'm going, you're more likely to see a video of an overnight camping trip to a bike campground in Holland somewhere near my house (there must be a bunch from what I can figure) than anywhere close to Albania. I don't think my ass can handle that much moped. Enjoy.

All mopeds are lame. You have to define 'fun'. If 'fun' is having to dick with a broken moped all the time, then you probably modded it somewhere along the line thinking you would be making it 'funner' to ride. Bzzzzzzt. Fail.I've got the lamest, funnest moped. It's a stock Tomos Quadro e-start with no pedals. I bought it used for a small fortune (850

I have strapped my golf bag and clubs onto the side of my Tomos and ridden to the local golf course about five miles away. That's about as radical as I've managed to be. Enjoy.

I'd like to be able to adjust my shocks too. Doubt I'd ever go to the trouble or expense to do so however. It might mess with the pattern of moss growth on the side of my body furthest away from the Sun.Enjoy.

Just got the notice from my insurance company that my Tomos moped tag is up for renewal (Yeah, your insurance company handles license plate dispersal on mopeds here in Germany - simple Simon). It's about ten euro/month to properly insure and tag my Tomos here in Germany. This will be the forth tag I have purchased for it since I bought it used in Holland when I first got here. I've al

You guys are in for a real treat this year if I get busy with my new Sony DSC QX10. This bad boy has image stabilization as well as 10x OPTICAL zoom and connects and controls via my iDevices through an ad hoc wifi connection between the lens(camera) and the iDevice. S W E E T. The connection can be a little dicey at times, but for 143 euros it kicks the iPhone camera's ass. I've alre

I followed my wife over here to Westfalia as it seemed easier than trying to chase down some new young pussy at my age. She is quite the expert at making money over here in Germany, so it worked out fairly well. Unfortunately, the doctors say she doesn't have that long to live (lung cancer) so I may end up having to bail out of here at the end of the day (I am not an expert at making money

Deposit issues. Landlords always try to fuck you. If you put your moped inside, he definitely can legally evict you, however that has NO bearing on the damages *alleged or deposit. Never count on seeing a rental deposit again once it leaves your grubby hand. IF you do happen to see it again, it is almost always a couple months before the check gets in the mail to you. Ought to be a law they H

It's a fire and/or explosion risk. No question about it. You lose. One of the reasons I am looking to an Ebike over here in Germany is that many of the trains don't allow gas ops (some do), but they nearly all allow bikes and ebikes. Same issue. Fumes...explosion...You know it's true. Sorry. Enjoy.
