I second a technigas, its hard to fault a next R for the price.

Dude, do your self a favour and pick up one of these. If you think it hauls with the bullet you know nothing.I know you already decided so this is not directed at you. How many people here have actually had the oil injection go? I've been running mine for 3 years on a Airsal 70cc kit with 0 problems on top of how ever many years the previous owner used the bike.
Fuck Yeah — 10 years ago
The Airsal kit is a very good mix of torque and speed while still being hard to fuck up.The guy who owned my bike before must have put sand in the cylinder or some shit. Still fucking RIPS.

First thing that came to mind was a couple oil holes and grooves. That said I don't have anywhere near the engineering experience/knowledge Graham does so I don't know how much that would help binding.

So you want to know if anyone is using the most popular tomos pipe on one of the most numerous mopeds when a pipe is generally the first upgrade done?(hint hint, fucking use the search)

There is also IRC for the grown ups.#mopedarmy@freenode.net

For you 6v guys crying about not having options you wan't something like this.http://www.ebay.com/itm/DC-DC-Converter-Auto-Boost-Buck-Power-Voltage-regulator-/320831939956?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ab312e574lolChina quality applies.

In my post history I have made a few comments about using the trailtek adjustable reg+rec to build systems like this. Your looks a lot cleaner.Mars, you can do output smoothing with a 2000+uF cap, it's not a big deal. If your in a cold climate you will need extended temp rated ones.

My dad is pretty sick today and it got me to thinking of what I'm going to ride when I get to 80ish, lord only knows I don't want to bust a hip on a moped. My faith has been reaffirmed.

Buy the adjustable trailtech DC regulator. "Supercaps" (which is what your power cap has inside), hell all capacitors only run off DC anyway and you have a "silicone rectifier" in the diagram. Replace it with the trailtech and then dial in your voltage.

The stock 14/12P jet is a 53.You need something in the low sixties to start out with. I'm running a 68 or so.

I will agree that HPI is useless on a 2speed. and extra useless given his setup. But I would love to see a write up on getting a pietcard on a a35/55, and not just a hundred posts of "yeah it works".

The answer is still an LX

DO NOT drill it so 16mm, there is not enough meat.Heat the body in a oven or something, the brass tube should fall out almost. Light wack on a 2x4 or some careful plier poking should do it.Step your bits up to 9/16 (just a hair under 15mm) so you keep the bore straight. and watch that idle circuit.
Fuck Yeah — 11 years ago
since a doubt the 6v puts out exactly 6v put 2 leds in series, more light and a safety margin for the bulbs.
Fuck Yeah — 11 years ago
the systems are completely separate.

uhh guys, read what he is saying. It bogs low and is leanish when it WOT. If you are sure of no leaks get a smaller pilot get.I believe this is relevent. Good luck.
Fuck Yeah — 11 years ago
Don't you have access to one of these? I don't think I have ever heard someone with a clearance problem with it.
Fuck Yeah — 11 years ago
If your going to talk about jack shafts then just run a small chain from the crank to the variator, ala tomos engine.
Fuck Yeah — 11 years ago
all of my lol.10/10 would read again.

No you didn't do any/enough digging because we had this exact thread less then a month ago.The short story is unless you know what you are doing buy a technigas next R. Sure on a stock bike there are better pipes (Estoril comes to mind) but it will work on a stock jubs and work WELL on a 70cc jug. A3? Next R. A35? Next R. A55? Next R.Tomos fucking anything? Next R.

because most drivers are too stupid to understand the hand signals.

I agree with Grey. The stock system is rated for 80w but generally puts out more. The HPI coil is like 10w, and only at max RPMs, hard wire the bike.
