you definitely can because i hear it when I'm riding as well
BumpHere is a video, you can hear the click click with every second rotation of the pedals. Any ideas?
So I rebuilt my A35 over the weekend and put it back together and now with every rotation of motor I have a light, double clicking sound. Its running fine besides the clicking but the sound itself just makes me uneasy. I feel it more when I pedal, so I have a feeing its that peanut clip in the middle of the case that engages the pedal but I'm not sure... any ideas?
I'm in Nagoya, moving to Tokyo at the end of March. All my bikes are back in the states but I'm looking for something to buy!
I like it! but I would also recommend getting some smaller handlebars...
SEARCH BAR BACK UP AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE!!! (I don't know why it changed back when they re-vamped the site... makes no sense to me)
+1 for stock moby with long seat and stock high handlebars... I could fall asleep on one of those

Not a free spirit, but it's a Murray so almost the same thing. 1980 was the only year they shaped the tanks like this... I personally like it more than the standard murray/free spirit tank.Rebuild by jgummer, on Flickr

crazy 6 petal carbon reed block from *Japan ;)(unless for some reason it was actually made in Taiwan but is still covered in Japanese...)
good luck with this, I tried to find one a few months ago and had no luck at all. What I ended up having to do was clean up the piston I had as well as I could and find the perfect size piston rings for sale on eBay... (I think they are 40.4mm) had to ship from Greece... haha but it worked

what ever you want to call it. The flywheel says it's CEV model 6420... doesn't seem to match up to anything on treats so here's to hoping someone here has it. pretty pleaaaase(this is a counterclockwise CEV flywheel) don't know if another CEV setup would work (ie. not model number 6420) but let me know what you've got
Second try, this is what I have now... still not working Morini M1 Hardwire (2nd try) by jgummer, on Flickr
what would cause the points not to open? I know you can set the gap on puch (Bosch) points, but on these CEV points it doesn't look like you can change them at all. The only thing I have done recently is clean the points...
vm18's jet really small apparently. I am going through the same problem... The stock (main) jet is either a 70 or 80. you are probably going to to have to buy a range starting with the SMALLest treats sells. So basically 55-100. Also you are going to probably have to change the idle jet as the stock 30 is way too high. Probably a 15 is the way to go. good luck
No, unfortunately I actually haven't gotten it running yet... could you explain that again? kind of confused
fuggin AAAAaaaa, tried both combinations... and neither worked
Just looked at the original Morini Wiring diagram, looks like the green wire is the lighting coil, does that mean I should ground black and hook up green to both head and tail lights?
So I just hardwired my M1 (went off my experience from doing several e50s) and now I don't have spark...Before I hardwired I already had the external condenser hooked up and everything was working fine until I started having some ignition problems. (I removed the original condenser and soldered appropriate wires on the stator back together). So I figured I would hardwire since my wiring setu
Adam that would be great, without the woodruff key won't the timing slip like crazy all the time? I would really like to set this up... looking forward to updates
bringing this back from the dead because it seems like no one ever gave an answer... I am basically having the same exact problem. Mounted up like the instructions said and all i get is backfiring... HALP(it's on an e50 btw using the 2013 cdi box that came with the set)
It's points, running a external condensor that is only a month old (got it at advanced autoparts) ... could potentially have failed already?
