check the fuse and check your grounds for good contact
ummm you do know you have to start it with the rear brake on right? the headlight would not effect starting
sounds like you need a tank, petcock and carb cleaning to me. Check to make sure your gas cap has clear venting
good luck scooter and heal quickly
Can't wait for the trial to begin, thats when the sh** will hit the fan. Anything less than a life sentence verdict and this town will go up in flames.
yeah 1 tube goes to the bottom of the carb and the other is the overflow whcih comes out the RH of the carb, out the throttle valve chamber
So I havent really read anywhere that the weakends pipe for NU50 hits decent on a stock cylinder or not. Can I get some input from anyone who's done it. I've always heard that it doesnt hit on stock cyl. so Ive always gone proma.
day by day Mike how you like your new bike?
you gotta pull that idle jet eventually because it is a collar fit and chances are there could be gunk in the open area that surounds the bottom of the idle jet that is not seen, there are 4 holes down there Tip: use a .014 gauge steel guitar string (is a tight fit) to ream the jet, holes, body inlet. Best to make marks to line the jet tube and body for reinstall so the 4 holes will line up to t
If none of that works look for airleaks inside and outside
block of wood and mallet, after letting breaker oil sit in cyl for 3 days
Yeah way rich. Just to use as a base... every NU50 I put a proma on with your typical mods to go with it , belt, variator, filter blah blah. A 90 jet works well with no issues if everything is sealed good
pull the sidecovers and look behind your flywheel to see if there is any oil in there/ should be dry, same for the drive side look for oil it should be dry . If there is signs of oil then that would mean your crank seals neeed to be replaced also check for....... white and grey smoke is a sign of blowby get a compression gauge and checkk it if its lower than 95 its gonna run bad should be 140+
just turn a flashlight on and off rapeatedly real fast
yeah either your throttle sleeve is getting stuck or its turned 180 in the wrong direction forcing it to run full throttle
with all your leaks you should plate all your flat matt surfaces and use the right size gasket paper for the purpose not just any thickness

headpump thing is your auto choke valve, take it off and the hoses, use vaccum line hose caps to seal the inlets at the carb/intake.to take the oil injection off pre mix at 40:1, undo the linkage and tie down bolts, slips right out easier when its off the bike. I use a 3/4 rubber adjustable plug to cover the injection hole.
most people that kit these pull the auto choke and oil injection probably dont have too as long as you keep it under 40
treats has them look it up
disconnect the auto choke while troubleshooting and plug the attachment points where the hoses go, intake, carb. Run your gas line from tank to the gas inlet as its supposed to be and not the intake inlet!! hold a couple of fingers over carb to start if it dont want to start. If your using the stock air filter, rinse it dry and put it back in dry. Carb adjustments should be throttle = 2 + tur
get them at western honda look at the parts fich left and right are different size look under motorcycles and it would be under crankcase@oil pump part 18 and 19
