just put a 70cc airsal kit on my A55 streetmate and it wont run. i have the weak-ends intake with stock carb and unipod air filter, stock exhaust except i cut it in half and welded a HMF dirt bike pipe on there. ran fine doing 45mph for a fe days now it doesnt wanna turn over, sounds like air is coming out of it some how but everything is tight.
do i have to jam piston to take the sprocket nut off?
My tomos lx just started a weird problem today, it will stall if its not rolling, if i roll the back wheel backwards it will be the same as me kick starting it, i feel like the clutch is F***ed up or something anybody else have this issue?? if soo let me know how to solve it please, i havent looked at the tranny yet
im planning on replacing the main shaft seal on my 2002 tomos lx...its this an easy thing to do? i havent got a chance to pull the sprocket off and check it yet but i havethe new seal, its leaking like oil or grease tht gets all over the chain and moped, i was told to replace that seal....will i have to crack the case?

im doing my first rebuild on my buddys 05 tomos lx, i had the motor off and tilted it upside down to clean it and some oil was leaking out of a tiny hole to the top left of the sprocket, whan i tilted it back to normal it didnt leak, is this normal? i believe it was tranny fluid coming out but it was very dirty haha. im thinking thats why the tomos chains always get all loobed up and greasy and i

also ive herd the story of taking a washer off the A55 variator to make them much faster? wheres the variator located? can anyone direct me in this situation?
just got an 05 streetmate for my cousin and am looking for some easy tune up ideas to give it a little more speed, already cleaned the carb out, i dont kno much bout the A55 motor though im used to A35 so let me kno what you guys are doing to em! thanks
u a hundred percent correct, im 15 and figured out all the tuning and everything by myself it still runs strong no problems...

whats the difference between stuffed and unstuffed? which in is better and for what reasons?...
well i wanna check the bearings and all plus i plan on widening the transfer ports to match the alukit i got on it....
i realized theres no run through on cracking an A35 case on wiki. can anyone help me with the basic idea of it?
well i figured out i had a bit of bad gas (not enough oil) so its not making weird seizing gestures anymore
yeah i hear yah.... also its been slowing down and running like poop lately.... looks like my next task is cracking the case
i have a tomos lx 2002 with about 6,000miles on it just kitted it about 1,000 miles ago.... one thing a realize is that my transmission does alot of weird things now....it will vibrate real bad when driving and sometimes when i start it the pedals will bounce back And fourth real quick...idont kno if somethings wrong or this is normal from wear and tear.... also i have replaced tranny fluid a few

i found them on treats. did u guys have to do any grinding or anything to fit it on there without dragging
what are u guys running gear wise for your moped...mines stock gearing but i have it kitted with a hi comp head and soon a carb? i feal like the rpms are too high in first and i can get more speed out of it
i have a 16/16 dellorto carb with a 20mm custom intake that im installing...does anyone have any advice for what reed block to run? also my bike is a kitted tomos lx with biturbo and high comp head
okay i like that plan, is the case hard to take apart and put eack together? i have teken the transmission all apart and changes clutches and all that so im pretty familiar. i just wanna be able to get this thing baack together

i belive my kit is the 44 mm bore, its a 70cc alukit
thanks that helps alot, what abou the transfer ports? should i even touch the case? and when i widen the ports should i change the size of the port where it opens to the cylinder sleeve or keep that the same size?
