the baffle on my prime circuit pipe flew off. i have a new one, just not really sure how to attach it. the replacement baffle from treats came with a hose clamp that fits around the inner cylinder of the new baffle. i don't know if i'm just supposed to go with that? or do i need to hack off the last bit of my pipe where the old baffle was held/riveted. it seems a bit of the old baffle is

Looking for anything you dudes got, preferably of the Puch variety. Craigslist is bleak, so i'm trying my luck on here.
he sold me some shitty weed once
as a precaution, just dont ride when it's raining. i've fried coils that way, rusted up carbs, etc. living in florida, it's a hard thing to avoid, but it's better to avoid it then be mopedless

stock tomos headers on bullets make awesome intakes for bigger carbs.
that shit is ugly. it looks like you're riding a giant fairing. the riding position looks incredibly awkward as well.

torque everything, sounds like it could be an airleak?
is it sketchy to ride fenders that are only attached at the axle?the fenders i have don't have the part that attaches to the forks/frame, only the arms that attach to the axle, and i want to put them on, i'm just not sure if they're gonna fuck me up.
that sounds like you have a massive airleak
if you have a dremel you can cut little slits in the broken stud to make it a flathead screw, then just take a decent sized screwdriver and you should be able to get it out with your screwdriver.
on the side of the boot that attaches to the wire, you'll see it's just a screw in there. cut the plug wire so it's flat/not stripped. then just screw in the boot to the wire with your hand. once it starts to feel pretty tight give the boot a tug to make sure it's on the wire secure.
we've been working on a friends bat, which seems to be going about half as fast as it used to go.everything is completely stock.to try and solve the problem we have: cleaned the carb, tightened everything (carb, intake, cylinder head, exhaust pipe) checked the fuel flow with/without filters, changed the plug. even tried running the bike with no pipe at all and nothing.the plug was pretty rich
yeah, that was going to be my next step - although a friend ordered one of those snazzy treats stators so i'm gonna try with that.i tried setting up the bat coil with that stator, and the wiring was a nightmare, so i mighta fudged up something on there.i'm gonna try to put in that stator, and if that doesn't work, then i'll flip the coils.i really just wanted to know if anyone
isn't there some sort of automechanic section of your school? take it there. if not that you should try an art studio area on campus or something. when i was in school i used to take my parts to the art studio when i wanted to paint them. you'll probably have to explain what a moped is more than 5 times though.
it just seems like it wouldnt work considering the order that the coils on the stator would be recieving the power. the lighting coil on the bottom would be getting hit first as opposed to the one on the top..?
i blew my 12v cdi on my korado. i have a stock e50 stator + a 6v flywheel that i was planning on putting on it, along with a bosch external coil from a batavus coil which i wanted to put on as well.would this work?the main reason i'm sketched is because the korado flywheel spins the opposite way than the e50 flywheels do. would this be a problem?
it's CDI, so there's no points or condensor. before i left, i checked for spark and there was none. i figured it got fried from a rain ride.came back, removed the kill switch and it still didn't start. today i tried randomly to start it and it did and rode fine. next time i tried to start it, no spark.
