I have a 1977 nc50 which was fucked when I bought it. Had to rebuild the transmission and put a new coil and stator and kit on her. Now I can't get the lights to work. I know the power is ac coming from the stator and the balck/white is to the ignition coil. Just can't get the lights to work without blowing or shocking me. Anybody know how to convert to DC? Possibly the stock Rectifier?

I'm trying to figure out how to hardwire an nc50. No battery. I've determined the back and white wire is to the coil and the white and yellow are ac wires coming off. I'm not sure if I can just run those to the stock Rectifier and have DC after that. Does anybody Know?

How do you Know the coil is fine?

Nc50 transmission cases are ridiculous. It took me a long time to figure it out. Pm me if you have any questions. The hardest part is setting the thing 2 or 3 clicks and line up with the little dot on the kick gear.

I bought a brand new vm16 for my qt50. Ran perfectly for about a week after i got it tuned. Then all of the sudden it just started pouring out gas from the overflow on the bottom of the carb. I adjusted the float at least a dozen times and Ive set it to getting no gas because the float was set so low the just slightly above that and it will still just pour gas out of the overflow. Ive cleaned the

I converted the wind up start to kick start and put the kick pedal on the back but I could o ly get the motor to turn over once so I converted it pull start and it works great!
2S4Blood Hanson — 9 years ago
I just did the conversion to the Honda Express Nc50 and it wont turn the motor over enough to start. Half a revolution on the kickstart only turns the motor once. What am I doing wrong or does someone have a video of them starting it?
