Hi all,Sachs G3 with 800 miles on it.When I try to just roll it with power off, it is like the engine is still engaged. Likewise, unless I keep the revs up it will stall when I come to a stop.Any guidance appreciated.Thx.
Hi all,Recently picked up a Sachs G3 with 700 miles and looks like new. Not sure if I will keep it or not, not really crazy about the foot brake set up.In any event, it seems like the clutch is not disengaging properly. When I come to a stop, she will shudder and stall. Sort of the same issue even when engine not running, she does not roll easily as she is trying to engage. Not at all familiar w
Imagine what this bike will go for if ass in seat is what drives valuehttp://live.drjays.com/index.php/2011/12/10/demi-moores-daughter-scout-willis-shows-her-ass-in-buttless-chaps/
Because some guy who most people never heard of farted on the seat, seller thinks his Yamaha Chappy is worth $3,500! But hey, it comes with a letter from the alleged celebrity's dad!The best part is where he says, "serious buyers only". Why do ridiculous sellers always mention serious buyers when they really mean incredibly stupid buyers?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Celebrity-O
I do not think local statute can override state law. Of course it could cost you a lot in legal fees to make your case.
Dumb ass. Maybe find a road where you can go 45 without doing more than double the posted speed limit and the cops will not hassle you. "Doh, but it is fun" says Adam. Well, the cops probably think it is fun to mess with shit for brains morons like yourself.
You will save yourself and everyone else a lot of time if you just list your asking price. Possibly interested but not looking to play the used car salesman's game of, "tell me what you want to pay for it".
How about a $2,000 dollar Sachs!http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sachs-Moped-/220879939368?pt=Other_Vehicle_Parts&vxp=mtr&hash=item336d786728
You would know condition better than anyone. Set an asking price and, if fair, you should get a lot of interest.
How. Much$$? Where located?
$725 moby. "so rare that it is the only one on eBay!"http://www.ebay.com/itm/MINT-ORG-1977-Motobecane-50-mobylette-50-moped-scooter-/170716095927?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27bf78e5b7#ht_500wt_922

In some states you can operate a ped without a license. Thus, they are in demand from knuckleheads who lose their DL, usually because of DUI conviction.
Just because they are listed at "stupid money" prices, does not mean they are selling. You will notice that a lot of those ads show up month after month with no takers. I have a Sebring, a Moby, and a Puch. All have less that 1,000 miles on them in great shape. The most I ever paid for one was about $450.
How many miles on her. How does she run?Is the paint kind of grungy looking or is that just the low res photo?Thx.
Hi All,I removed my mobys engine from the mounts to remove head. The mounts. / silent blocs appear to be in good condition. When retightening the mounts, where should the engine be positioned. All the way forward, somewhere in between, etc.?Thanks,Mike
Tim, your constant crying and ongoing tantrum are all the prof we need to confirm that you are indeed too immature to be operating a motor vehicle of any type. When you grow up, you can get your license. Now go cry to Mommy because the rest of us are tired of your whining.
Looks to be in great shape. If I did not have 3 peds at the moment I would certainly consider it. No mods is sometimes a very good thing!! Heck, there are guys selling spray-painted peds on here for more!

Providing an asking price is more likely to get you some takers. Otherwise the assumption is that seller wants far more than it is worth.
Oh little Timmy, now you do sound like a typical, self absorbed, foolish 14 year old. The state should make 1 exception, an exception just for you. Seriously? Perhaps we can propose it to the MD state legislature, we can call it Tim's Law.Everyone sing along now ...Oh, you are special you're the only one, you're the only one like you. There's nobody else in the whole wid
Get over it Tim. The reason driving age differ by state is difference in roads, population, traffic, etc. In MT or parts of the Midwest you can go for hours and hardly see another car. In MD you can easily become road kill.I hate to break it to you but life is not all about YOU. The laws wii not change just because, as Barney obviously told you, you are special. You think 14 is the right age
I bought mine in NJ a year ago. 600 miles, near mint condition. Not sure how you define a lowball but I can tell you I paid about half what you are asking.
Anyone tried these? Are they the same as other vendors are selling?http://www.themopedgarage.com/motobecane-engine-mounts-complete-set
Thanks for the replies.I am thinking that it is the silentblocs as there just appears to be too much movement of the engine. 30+ year old rubber bits are rarely in good shape!Have ordered a replacement set so will go from there. Will update when done.
Just to clarify. It is the inside of the pedal crank that actually brushes against the variable. Of the pedal crank was a fraction of an inch further out on the pedal shaft, this would not happen. Thanks.
Hi All,I picked up a 650 mile MV50 the other day. It had not run in years although guy I bought it from had it running, barely.Anyway, the good news is that it is in really nice shape overall. I cleaned up the fuel tank, changed lines, filters, plugs, bels, greased things up, and put on a new Gurtner carb. She now runs really well. Not the fastest, about on par with my stock Puch Maxi. Anyone know if that is a 1 or a 2 speed motor?
