I'll grab my meter from the shop and see what happens tomorrow, I think the ground may have been bad, and maybe all current bypassed the regulator.
So the stock iskra 3 prong stock regulator blew on my bike, and at the time the only regulator I had around was this https://www.treatland.tv/heavy-duty-voltage-regulator-p/heavy-duty-regulator-12-3092.htmThe factory one had three prongs and was straight forward, but not sure how to wire this 2 wire regulator up. I tried all power wires to yellow and black to ground but blew my headlight bulb (h3

My daughter is 2 and a half now, but she's been around mopeds since she was born. I'm sure she will ride at least a little bit because she's always excited when she sees me pull up
I'm out in Fairfax, not many people with peds out here but the dc guys are awesome
I have too many to upload...way too many
Saw you on the Facebook group, you came to the right place for getting them up and running! Check the wiki for lots of info. Also make sure to run a decent 2 stroke oil even when testing. Good luck and happy peddin
Streetmate parts on lx frame, comfy lol ripper
Got the 17.5 on the way, had the same issue Kevin had with extreme side play, should solve it, thanks guys
It's been a while since I had to buy one, but the stock size needle bearing when installed allows too much play and seems to move around a bit, saw a few different options on treats and was wondering how wide I had to go, 16.5 or 17 wide
You did use 2 stroke oil in the gas correct? Either way I'd start by pulling head and cylinder and see if the bore is trashed
Battery isn't necessary, you can have ignition on and kick start it. Once running the magneto will power lights. I used to have one a long time ago until a car hit me and totalled it. Drain all the fuel, clean carb(make sure main jet and the small idle jet at intake side is clean) and replace with fresh fuel and ensure that oil injection works. To make sure its safe add a small amount of 2 st
Run 27/22 gearing, get a pod filter, around a 60 jet and a tecno bullet. Upjet is simple on a SHA, remove carb(single screw on intake clamp), remove 2 screws on the bottom of plastic float bowl. The main jet is in the center of the carb and there is no need to remove other parts. Reverse for reassembly. Pretty simple
Hell yea Sal! Stack that paper
When my daughter was a few months old
Below 400 should be good, over that and you could seize your kit.
Just installed my jammer 1st gear clutch, second stiffest springs and 400 ml type F. bike rips, but due to high clutch stall its running hotter than id like. What kind of trans fluids you guys running? Dont wanna glaze the pads or shred cork second gear due to additives. If temps are an issue would the softer springs help and allow me to run type f still? Setup is a35, parmakit 15sha 1st gen iskra
I for one have met Ted at a few VA rallies, doesnt deserve the hate and trolling. A genuine oldschool moped dude just enjoying what we all are here for.
Id start with keeping the stock cylender, upjet carb to around 58-60 with a pod filter (test/plug chop to be sure, different elevation ect effect this.) And go with a techno bullet/biturbo pipe and take it feom there. Maybe change gearing up front to a 27t sprocket. Should get you cleanly upper 30s maybe 40.
tried to order but out of stock...hope they get more in soon!
These are so awesome, and you can get a second gear one as well if you contact DTT through facebook message!
Use a longer m6 bolt, and use a nylock nut on the other side. Problem solved, had it happen before on the ignition cover side. Easy and permanant.
wish I had the cash at the time to be lucky enough to get one of Walts, its not so much the lining that matters as much as the Inferior stock design. I have a pile of shattered clutch shoes due to the pins wearing out the holes of the shoes and wearing out slots in the hub, hopefully treats can get the Jammers done for this season!
not trying to threadjack, but how is the moped scene in Port St. Lucie? I may be moving that way in a couple months due to my wife thinking its better than northern VA, and that "it will give my daughter a better life". hopefully there's people to ride with and things to do out there, as well as jobs
Motion pro 10 inch metal levers are great, tips are thin enough to wrap with electrical tape if need be but fine without. No bending either
Id assume its a jetting issue. no filter and not upjetting will cause those symptoms, running too lean.
27 up front, 22 in the rear, pretty much best gearing for all around riding
http://www.treatland.tv/fully-chrome-adjustable-shocks-280mm-p/280mm-chrome-shocks-8mm-10mm.htmhave these on one of my bikes, adjustable to get the stiffness you need without sacrificing the center stand. also if you go with something taller as I have you can always get a revival/streetmate center stand, it bolts right up. come to think of it streetmate shocks are slightly stiffer and 300mm, you c
It also has 2 holes in the rear, something different
