Alright, so I had it running nice last summer and had a carb break at the intake (screwed it on too tight & it broke at the screw, screw still in piece just not attached to carb). I fixed the break by slight amount of JB weld and fitted a larger intake on so it doesn't wiggle around and got everything together again after a nice cleaning/lube session. I started it up and it ran for a litt
I'm looking for a replacement 12mm Bing Carburetor. I cracked mine last summer when my buddy thought it would be fun to tighten it way too tight & it broke at the intake (I'm not bitter or anything). So if you have a spare 12mm Bing laying around send me some pics and we will talk further. Thanks!
My moped starts off strong every time I start it and goes about 25 in one good push down the street then looses power after a few times up and down the street. It usually settles around 15 mph after a few good runs. It used to go 30+ easy down the road and gain speed rather fast. Once it started to loose speed I changed everything out that I could including spark plug, tranny fluid, 2 different ty
Im looking for a running moped or one that needs a little work to ride around on for the summer. All will be accepted and considered, Email me if you have any offers.

I need some help getting this pedal arm pin off my '79 Tomos Silver Bullet to get to a bigger problem in the engine and was wondering if anyone had any good ways of getting this bastard off. I have beat it with a hammer and used some liquid wrench on it and then beat it again. Is there a simpler way or am I just not hitting it hard enough?
I'm looking to buy a running moped/minor work moped I can get running for the summer. Willing to spend $300-500 on one.
I wants it but its so far away
I bought it earlier this summer and got it running really nice. Let it sit for a little bit and doesn't get spark, just needs a little work. It comes with the original tomos 5 star mags and its mostly stock. I would be willing to sell it (pick up only) or I would be willing to trade it for a another running moped preferably a puch.
I have a 1979 Tomos Silver Bullet that I would like to trade for a running Puch. My '79 tomos is completely stock and in good condition. All the parts are there and it has good compression and just needs a little love to get it up and running. I have had it running previously and it gets 25-30 mph. It comes with a set of tomos 5 star mags. I would be willing to trade it for a running Puch of

Do you have its original stock parts?
Looking for a nice starter moped in South Dakota. Never owned one before and understand that a Puch would be the easiest to maintain. But am willing to consider others based on ability to learn from and availability of parts. Looking for a nice complete moped working or not, to work on and learn from. Preferably stock. and preferably 2HP.
can't believe you're gonna sell that
Im in Lincoln for a few days and have been trying to buy get my hands on a motobecane for a while. Emailed
How much would you want for it if you included the stock parts along with the upgrades you made on it?
Steven, I am still willing to buy it for $350. I'm in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
This was awesome to read right after a nap. Made the nap so much better.
