The price is for the machine work required to make the bushings. The inner diameter of the hub is 29.2mm. The outer diameter of the bearing is 28mm. I'm not sure where you got a pipe that was 1.2mm thick within .005 tolerance. The aluminum stock was machined out to 28.002mm ID and machined down to 29.202mm OD.
