Rev Run is sold.Bike is powdered.Clutch is KTM in a regular puch bell and starter plate. I think I got one of the bells that someone put a roller bearing in. Then I lathed down a steel ring and pressed, tack welded it into the bell so the ID works with the KTM clutch. I'm pretty sure I remember having a brake and clutch shop put some clutch material on the starter plate because the KTM clutch

Hey everyone,It's time for me to part with my main ride. Near Milwaukee, can deliver to city, $800 OBO.Various pics of the building process and some pictures of it new. I haven't started it in about a year and it's got like 2 minor scratches on it now. Otherwise, wipe it down and it's pretty much what you see here.Parts:e50Ported Gila (added those things, a little piston work,

This is dumb. You hear one of the bikes revving way high and the other one keeping a pretty low, constant RPM. The setups aren't the same. Are the bikes warm? Did you tune either of the clutches?I don't want to knock the 77 clutch. It might be awesome. The price definitely is. But this gives us no info.

8. Re: hammer clutch

Hammer clutch and stock Puch E50 clutch are both centrifugal clutches. The stock Puch E50 clutch has arms that rotate on pivots and you can adjust the spring tension with a screw. The hammer clutch has shoes that slide on a post and you can't adjust spring tension, you just have to replace the springs. The result is the hammer is slightly less tunable, performs better, doesn't break, and

I think you're confusing yourself. Lower resistance to ground takes longer to charge the cap and retards spark. Right? So the resistance

14. Re: are windowed pistons inherently noisy?

On some kits the fins vibrate and sing loudly. Start it up and put your hands on the cylinder fins so they can't vibrate and see if the sound you're hearing goes away. If that's it then stick some pieces of fuel line between the fins to damp that vibration.

Try a new spark plug. Sometimes when they're about to foul out, they make the bike act like it really rich.

Ok cool, so then how do we figure out if a box (like this aero, my MVT, etc) are CDI or TCI?Sounds like if both are CDI this will probably work?

18. Re: Hobbit CDI with awesome curve:

Cooper Hennick — 8 years ago
Forum: Performance
Jake, do the voltages on the input signals to the box affect the spark timing? I think that's the case on the analog boxes, but I know nothing about CDI circuitry. The reason I ask is I'm trying to find a box to replace the one that came with my MVT premium.

Unscrewing it leans the idle. And yeah if that thing is stuck all the way in, the thing will never idle.

The wrist pin is 12 mm in diameter bu I don't know the length. The bearing you want is 12x15x15.Ken - apparently there are two types of gila pistons. I got the wiseco needle bearing on treats which is 16.3 mm wide and it didn't fit the new gila piston I bought along with it.

Thermosyphon won't work. If you put the radiator below the heat source, the cool oil would just hang out by the radiator and the hot oil would stay in the tranny. You'd need to put the radiator above the heat source, but that won't work since the tranny area is open to the air.

I'm not familiar with that pipe but that's impressive if you really are getting 12k out of an unported reed kit.The polini is faster. Where the reed kit shines is durability and torquey driveability.
