Of course. Without a considerable amount of current though you'd have to do a whole lot of little sections one at a time.
Oh man, this was a while ago. Don't really remember the specifics. I think, well I know, I ended up using a different kit, but I also messed with the clutch/fluid for a while. I ended up using kick start springs and I started putting a little 85/140 gear oil in with the ATF to keep it nice and slippery. Something like 1:4 gear oil:ATF.
It actually has the springs in it. Engages at about 6,000.
I fabbed this KTM clutch for a Garelli, along with the Minarelli bell (with a Garelli gear in it) and starter plate, and a clutch cover spacer, and various shims. I also re-lined the started plate with high friction brake lining. I had a very similar set up in an e50 and it worked great. Somewhat janky cylinder, but perfect functional. Just overbored and honed. The intake stud mounts were stripped so I fabricated a plate for it. I'd like to get $125 shipped. Oh sweet. I have one of those Polini Team cylinders that I've never used. Managed to find the original reed block for it on eBay Italy, but it's actually pretty small.
$45 stock reed cylinder that was on treats? Like, a stock 50cc team cylinder? I didn't see that. Did it come with a reed block? Look at this reed block, I bet you could make it work.
Oh, I didn't even notice that it was the vertical reed cylinder. Yeah, curious about the reeds. I have one of those jugs, and I was able to find the original reed block for it on ebay italy. But I but you could get the minarelli V1L block in there with not too much work.
