those speeds are pretty baller for a moby, especially if you're "large" haha. but yeah get the shorty intake for that dellorto carb. and when you get it you'll notice that the intake doesn't fit on the cylinder quite snug, no big just sand the top of it until it does. and in my own opinion, i wouldn't even bother kitting a moby if it already does those speeds, porting
yeah you'll be fine, run that shit with a stock head
alright, i'm looking for an exhaust that does not make me have to remove my pedals, because once my pedals are gone that that means i have to get a lisence and insurance which i'm really not into doing right now, anyone got anything in mind?
straight up canadian cuz, another reason i love this speedo i don't wanna know how many mph i'm going, i wanna know how many kph i'm going.
yeah that's what i did, worked like a charm, this is my first working speedo so i'm addicted to just staring at it seeing how fast i'm going hahaha
okay i got it, but this speedo is kind of weird, it doesn't have any mounting hardware, nor does it have anywheres to mount to, i got all the cables and stuff in though and i had it running, i just can't figure out out to mount it..
so i just got the new transversal speedo for the moby off treats, anyone know how to set it up? i check the owners manual and there's nothing there about the speedometer..
what's the deal with the dellorto carb clones? are they of less quality as a normal one? i want a 15.15 because mine blew up, but they don't have them in stock, all they got are these "clones"...
alright cool well it's only about 10 or 15 degrees tilted so i guess i'll be good
do you think if i tilted my carb a little it would make any difference, does it really matter? only reason i'm asking is because i need to drill a screwn through and attach it to the intake so it doesn't slip off.
i just got my airsal 2 days ago, all i'm running is a del. 15.15 and this kit, everything else is s,tock and it rips. though i'm not jetted properly, i'm running a 68, but my 70's ange jets should be here in about 3 hours. the airsal is super easy to set up too, just bolt that shit on and go
so my airsal just came in the mail today. i read somehwere's that you can use a 68 jet, but i also read that you shouldn't go lower than a 72. now i got jets on the way, but i happen to have a 68 jet on me right now, so can someone confirm all this? would a 68 jet be alright or should i wait it out? i'm running a 15.15 on an av7 at the moment, hit me up!
just ordered a 70cc airsal for my av7 moby, what jet size do ya think i would need? running a del. 15.15 at the moment.
i'm thinking of getting the 74cc airsal kit for my av7 moby, but i was wondering if i would need to order a new head too? or would the stock one do fine..
yeah i'm just looking to be able to make it up hills without pedalling. i got a del. 15.15 right now, would i be good to set the kit up with this being the only after market part on my bike ya think?
https://www.1977mopeds.com/product/1223/Motobecane-AV7-65cc-Malossi-Kit/ woops haha here's the thread
anyone ever get this kit? what's it like, says it's a basic bolt on and go but this beast is gonna come to 200 some dollars, worth it?
yeah you're probably right. i'll admit i'm kind of new and just enjoy the buzz of getting new parts. i'll probably just invest my time into the wiki and try and gear this pimp sled up nice.
hmm i see what you're saying. only performance part i got right now is that dellorto 15.15.
What would be a good exhaust pipe for my 50v? I was looking at those sim chrome ones on treats but it says they scrape like a slut. I'm willing to go as far as 120 bones, anyone got any recomendations? thanks!
I just ordered a dellorto 15.15 sha carbeurator and a shorty intake, i was wondering how many mph this will really get me? Is it worth the 85 bones?
What are some simple little things to increase my performance? My rig is a tad slow so i just want to get it a couple more mph faster. Thanks
i can't seem to get my drive chain straight. like no matter what i do it always ends up crooked and then when i go to drive it it just falls off. this is a major piss off anyone have a solution?
So my headlight is super dim. I tested the headlight to make sure it wasn't just blown, but it's fine. Could someone help me out here? grounds perhaps, i'm sort of at a loss.
i'm guessing mobys need everything electrical to start? i may have broke both the wires that go to my flywheel by mistake, but from what i can see that's the only thing that happened, that and one of the grounds, but i'm just assuming this is why it wont start?
so i got the bushing out by just slamming on to it with a hammer, but now i can't get the new one in :( i was thinking maybe just use a dremel and sand down a tiiiiiny bit of where the bushing goes it but i don't want to permanently fuck it up, how does everyone else get theirs in?
so wake up one day, and, my headlight doesn't work :( i checked all the wries, everything is in place, i tested to see if the headlight wasn't blown and it's not, works real good, what do you think it could be?
god dammit i need to get a hold of one of those pullers, where can i get one or rig one up?
yeeah that's what i'm thinking^ i even have a new motor mount but i don't have a swete fucking clue how to get the old one out or put the new one in..HELP!
