I recently used a metal spackel knife and an electric heat gun to remove some. Apparently it’s the most efficient method, just don’t forget how f****** hot everything gets- even the melting off powder coat that seems like flexible rubber. That being said it can peel off fairly easily when hot enough.Using a torch will likely create some toxic fumes so if you do that probably wear PPE like a respir

I haven’t seen them and have been looking for years. They were available and may pop up from time to time used in Europe. The Si ones line up like this mocked up on a Ciao. If you found SI ones you may be able to make them work for a Ciao, I didn’t put a to. Of effort into it but these ones sold and are now properly fitted to someone’s SIThe lower mounts mount to the front upper motor mount I beli

That’s what I figured but didn’t know for sure - included but not necessarily worth using. If nobody buys them eventually maybe I’ll clean them up and see if the board and such work. Not super high on my priority list.

I got these with a Sebring and always wanted a set of Cat Eye signals (and these are apparently the ones with an annunciator) but just don’t have the time to put the effort into these. They are a bit rough and would need a full resto/cleaning at a minimum, likely new batteries as well.May be best for parts.See the photos and or make me an offer or trade offer.$65 Shipped or Best Offer

Will the crank not turn at all ?The motor is indeed the same as the other Vespa mopeds with minor differences in the head (side head cooling fins on subframe models while Ciao only had the vertical fins so it fit into the Ciao frame) and the intake/carb.The intake/carb differences are primarily based on the model speed (higher speed models also had a dual Variated setup). When you rebuild or upgr

I’ve got an orange powder coated one with matching forks. No seat springer thoughThe previous previous owner may have done some lower tank repair before the powder coat but I’m not sure and haven’t had a chance to scope the tank yet.I’m guessing you want something definitely solid though

What’s your issue/ do you know what part number you have/need.Pietcard makes an electronic ignition that works with your stock stator plate and light coil. It’s not cheap but it is pretty great.

Check moped division and maybe message them.If not send a message to DOS/Treats they may have one hiding somewhere.

Test any of it? I would venture to bet it may potentially work as is with some light cleaning and some QD electronics cleaner and time to properly dry out. I’ve seen worse looking stuff run fine just saying.
