ok checked for leaks good there, but i can not get this bitch to stay running even took the carb off agian to clean i did notice that the float seemed stuck so trying to fix that... thank you for all the replies

dude i did the mod and it wasnt a big differance. Im in the process of putting a E50 on the bike now much better low end and lots of proformance parts...

I modified my variator right of the bat, then pipe... ripped it up

Ok here is the deal,So bought this ped with these specs, i cant get this piece to idle. I have cleaned the carb 2 times. New gas new spark plug. What happens is I start it and then it idles super high whinds down and dies. I have messed with screws all the way in and slowly moved them out NO change. any advice???1978 Hobbit with metra 80cc kitproma pipestock carb (modified?)

is your a pai or a paii? I have a stock pai only went about 25, put a proma pipe on and changed the carb to a delordo and got it tuned pretty good and it never gives me problems. Top speed on it is only about 35-37 mph. I started to look into to milling the head and boring the ports out but its a lot of work and easy to mess up. good luck

I have a kstar for my puch with a delordo carb (21mm) with a bullet pipe and my top speed is about 47-48mph. I bought them in a pack from treats... Super happy

Hey I have some what newish to mopes. I have done all that i know how to on both my bike (puch and hobit). they both start and run well, I know im not getting the proformance out of them that i could if I had the right knowelege.Im looking to hire someone to teach me about tuning, I have read a few books watched hours of video but I must still be miss some steps or knowhow. well this is my second set of forks, and i am having the same issue, i will try this too. Im nervous that it might be that the fork tube is bent. How could i tell if it the frame?

I have a honda hobbit, Im having trouble getting the triple tree/ tire square to the frame. Its like I cant get the wheel any tighter, but if you hold the tire with your legs and move the handle bars the triple tree rotates.I change out the triple tree already thinking that might be the problem, but im having the same issues.Could it be that my frame is bent? Any ideas?

i had an old engine that i was trying to rebuild for a buddy and he had seized his too. I took a fiber glass rod and a rubber mallet and finely broke it free.

put a new spark plug in and see if that helps, if not check your wiring.There are a few ways to start mopeds push, peddle and kick... (sometimes pull, or push button)Any how depress the clutch, pleddle/push, release your clutch when the engine starts to turn over.

hey i looked in a online manual for spark gap and it says .016- ,02 and i have seen on other blogs were poeple have seen where poeple have gapped to .036 not really sure where i should beShould it be more if my moped is kited? I have a k-star on my puch maxi, dellordo carb.Let more know if you need more infoThank you!
