Looking for a stock E50 clutch and brass collar, mine widened up on the notches where the starter plate contacts it and keeps sticking making it unusable.

Does anyone have any good ideas on how to leak test the tansmission side seal on an E50? I had two ideas but i have grave concerns with both:1. through fill plug hole, pump a little propane into the trans case and ee if it effects the idle, gas pressure wont build too badly since there is a breather hole on top rear of trans case BUT my concern is heat detonation inside the trans.2. run engine wit
turns out I'm not crazy and there literally is no way to time this ignition any differently after all. the external pickup is permanently mounted so no amount of rotating the stator plate would change it because it picks up from the outside of the flywheel which isnt adjustable, so the only way to set the timing on this engine would be to get a different cdi and coil set without the external
what im confused about it that the flywheel and the case mark stay at the same point no matter what position i have the stator inso should i me measuring either the case mark against the stator position or the TDC mark against the stator mark etc?
I am completely confused here, here are pictures at full advance and full retard on my A55, what marks should i be measuring between because obviously I've been looking at this all wrong?
I cant get it to go that far it seems even full out to the edge of the plate, what is that in mm depth?
Holy Shitballs! its been running at only 10* TDC anyone know what the correct range on a CDI A55 is?
believe me i fucking hate this bike and nothing about it makes sense to me but it's my brothers and he knows jack about this stuff, I'd much rather get him on a Puch which I can get but he is insistent on a top tank and I cant afford to build him a magnum.Wayne to be clear in the original post my question was not if it would fix it but if there was a way to to put a larger one on at all,
Ken its this one: http://www.treatland.tv/tomos-moped-a55-70cc-airsal-cylinder-with-head-p/tomos-airsal-a55-kit-01210444.htmfor an air filter i just have filter material ziptied to the front of the carb since every intake ive bought for it has fallen apart. i had the jetting at 68 but when i checked the plug recently it was pretty dry so i bumped it up just to see if it would be better or not, w

But it revs out so quickly and then slowly creeps from 32-38, but its dangerously torquey, like hard to keep the whe
Oh the dished sprocket goes wide enough to compensate for the pickup? I'll have to give that a try then I suppose, the chain line isn't heinously further out is it?
This is the long rounded Puch seat on treats, had to make a bracket with some angle iron on the back but its so nice! ...just braggin'...EDIT: found a pic of the craptastic and heavy bracket i made for it.
So annoyingly I figured out You cant go up even one tooth without hitting the damn ignition pickup. I dont want to get going on a rant about how much i hate this engine because i could go on for hours but is there a reasonable/affordable way to redo the ignition so i could put a larger sprocket on the front? I've already gone as small on the back as you can without machining (which i am uneq

Ok so ive been running variously modified Bings for years now but I'm thinking of finally moving to a better carb. What kept me away up to this point is lack of access to fabrication tools and having to deal with only bolt on intakes. Anyway I have two bikes right now with E50s: one is a 65c Airsal and the other is a 64cc Polini(currently building), i have been looking at carbs and have no
is that where that logo comes from? Every now and then I'll see a patch with that logo on it but ive never seen it actually associated with the site
I'm looking for a set of those screws that go on the top of the spring itself (preferably ones that have the nylon/rubber ring to protect them from bottom-outs). One of mine stripped out after a nasty pothole. for clarity's sake it is the part that goes inside the fork-tree body and holds the spring, not the small metric screw that holds it to the fork cap.

I recently picked up a project Allstate 250 and even though I've found assembly manuals and such for it I was wondering if anyone knew of an English language forum/user group that is still active where I could get advice?
Ok So I'm at the stock 26 on the front and I was wondering what the largest sprocket i can put on the front before i've removed so much material to fit it that the ignition will be exposed. I know the 31 claims to need a mini HPI in order to fit so thats out of the question but what I'm asking is whats the largest i can fit by grinding the case/cover before its impossible to shield
where can I get vibrum rubber though?
Oh wow your right I didn't look at the date. Lol my bad

I saw that post but it looked like he was only to make one set for now in exchange for an engine until he could build the tooling.
I've rebuild mine so many times but this kit is just tearing them up, but I've also been told that the A3 clutches are vastly more durable and are the best option for kitted bikes.
