Update: 30 minutes after i rode i checked the bike again. The tranny felt hot so i opened up the phillips head screw port to see if any more flud needed to be let out. IMmediatly fluid started coming out. I am now letting it drip untill it stops, then ill plug it again.
Alright guys so i recently performed my first transmission fluid change on my streetmate. The first time i didn it i seemed to have a leak around the bottom empty bolt so i redid it and added some teflon tape around the bolt. I added fluid untill it started pouring out of the phillips head screw port. After about two minutes or so of dripping i plugged the hole with the screw. Is it possible that
Hey guys so ive noticed that my tomos streetmate r has been leaking from under the motor. It looks like a black substance so im guessing its oil. Any idea on why it would be leaking? Its not a huge leak but there is a wet spot under my bike whenever i park it, about an inch wide. Any ideas? Can the bike be damaged if i keep riding? Is there anyway to make sure its not transmisson fluid? Thanks in

Now that i look back on it i realize how dumb it was, but whats done is done, and now i have to fix it. I installed a new exhaust on my street mate. Exhaust can loose pretty quick while i was driving so i figured i would just ride it till i got to a buddy's house about 2 miles away. AS i was driving up a hill, with my smaller (110 pound freshman) friend on the back, the moped started going ve
i recently received a tomos streetmate that i bought off craigs list. The battery was pretty low but i managed to get it up and running no problem. after about 70 miles i installed a new techno exhaust. It fit pretty good, but a piece of my gasket broke off and for a little while i was riding with the exhaust coming off. Now after i go to start it up, it starts at first, then dies very fast. Does
