Received the new clutch from Treats last night - amazing service again - and wow, the difference in hardness is crazy. The old clutch is a chubbychubchub while the new one is a purple pill hardon, so definitely a big difference. I'm sure the new clutch will fix my issues.

I like the raspberry rims. Reminds me of my old school freestyle bike.

You seem to have fuel and compression. To be certain you can get a cheap compression tester and do a quick test.Next thing I would do is make sure you got spark. Either clean the plug or get a new one and check spark at the plug.If you got all of those, you should have a running engine.

Don't sell it. You'll make $850 which will be gone in a weekend and you'll be left with nothing.

Never heard of this brand but it seems like a well made moped from the pictures posted.Seller has the pair. Almost new. Really hard talking myself out of making an offer.Redhttps://akroncanton.craigslist.org/mcy/d/millersburg-1980-motron-medalist-moped/6881071212.html

I have only had experiences with Tomos, Honda and Garelli and out of those three different brands I would have to give the nod to Tomos. It seems their mopeds are the easiest to work on and get/keep running. Plenty of available parts make it easier too. I have owned 4 Tomos and not one gave me any problems other than gummed up carbs from sitting too long. All else was fine. Great brand. What's

I enjoy working with my hands and fixing things. I had no idea what mopeds were until finding a Honda noped on CL and having to have it. Since then I'm always searching for cheap ones to fix and resell - although I don't make any money on them, it's more just for the fun.I currently have my Garelli and looking for a Tomos - just cause. I do want to build my own noped/bicycle in a ra

Regarding microbreweries, I read last year this article that talks about how they have reached their peak. There will come a point where they'll just be too many. It's not sustainable.https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/business/wp/2018/04/10/the-craft-beer-industrys-buzz-is-wearing-off/

I'm going to fiddle with the mixture screw and see what happens. I do have the clutch in my cart over a Treats. Trying to figure out what else I'll need to order everything at once. Thanks!

Sorry not N/M - it was 23 ft/lbs. I'm used to N/M for everything at my job so I automatically typed that. Thanks for the concerns ;)Took it out this morning and ran good but the idle went to crap once it warmed up and felt underpowered. I took apart the carburetor yesterday, cleaned it and threw it all back together last night without setting the mixture screw. Gotta work on that this weekend

Seems as if the problem was caused by me when I reinstalled the clutch. I apparently over-torqued nut and was dragging the full assembly. I backed off the nut and torqued it to 23nm and all is moving freely. It's currently pouring down so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to see how it runs.
