Saw this bike pop up a few times over the past couple years. Thought about buying it the last time it was on Marketplace for dirt cheap

For $325, I wouldn’t be expecting a perfect running bike. That’s just ridiculous lolAlso it seems like Richard has more issues than the bike. Lots of drama from this guy on the forums the past couple weeks.

Mine is Kevlar with armor. Has zip in/out liner to keep you cool/warm. Its actually for racing crotch rockets. Sold my rocket, kept the jacket. It’s been crash test proven a couple times on fast bikes, no road rash and the jacket only has a couple scuffs.

I use a rubber stall mat... like for horses. Got it at TSC like 15 years ago. Big enough for multiple mopeds.

MMI bought General in 1984. The General TE became the Raven and the spoke wheels were replaced with the unobtainium Bernardi aluminum wheels. Not sure of exact years they were produced but mine is a 1987

That was one of the first things I noticed when I got my raven and thought it was kinda weird too. But it’s functional so whatever

You don’t really get the money and time back when you sell a moped unless you are getting stuff super cheap to start.Having the moped shipped to you really hurt your chances of selling for profit or breaking even. I’d expect you to get around $600 give or take. Who knows though, maybe somebody with the cash would eventually buy it. $1000 doesn’t have the same value to everyone. I’ve put high price

Got this plate on a recent purchase. The cool thing is the metal backing plate from the now defunct moped shop. It’s as big as the license plate but has that little extra that sticks out below with business name and such.

I understand not wanting to take an offer right off the bat and I tell sellers that when I give them my offer. I tell them if someone else offers more that I’m not going to be upset or feel like I missed out. I usually offer like a 7-10 day window that my offer is good for. Most contact me back in a couple days.Just had a guy a couple weeks ago begging me to come pick up his garellli gran sport lt

I used to build everything to blast. The past 5 years or so, it’s been just throwing on a pipe and cruising mid 30s. I’ve had to do the “push of shame” back home maybe once since. Way more enjoyable!

That’s a proma lowboy... pretty rare pipe. Anyone into expresses should grab that.
