Anyone? What jet would my carb come with stock? What size would be ideal to upjet to?
My bad, the website that has the filter carries a number of bing jets.
About to buy a high flow filter for my 1976 sachs balboa. I think im going to go with this UNI high flow one. The website recomends an upjet in the bing carb. What size jet would give me the best performance with this filter? Anyone know a website or a place i could get the jet?ThanksHere is the filter.https://www.1977mopeds.com/product/260/Puch-UNI-Pod-Air-Filter-/
What size sproket comes stock on my model? Would 38 give me some better lower end or top? As of today it tops out at about 23mph, and is pretty slow off the start.
Picked up a sachs balboa, 1976 the other day for $50! Original paint, 956 miles. Was told it hasn't ran in forever. I drained the gas, cleaned the carb and bam, fired right up. Runs GREAT! super smooth, very quite. The top speed is ok, but not good enough :) Im looking to build an all out speedster out of this thing while still maintaining.. some.what... of reliability. For starters, what are
Took the 76 sachs balboa out today for the first time in a couple weeks. Rode it about 7 miles. It was extra slow, it usually runs about 26 on flat. Today it was SLOW, averaging about 16 mph on flat, and unbearable take off speeds. It sat for 10 years before i bought it, i never changed the plug. I suspect carb issues. Where can i get a new one and roughly how much will it run?Any ideas? Thanks.<
Alright, ill try that. What kind oil is best?

This ped is prob one of the most unique looking ones i have ever owned. It is large, much larger then you would think. Its like a med size dirtbike...with pedals. I bought it from an old man that had many old bikes, mostly ducaties. He said he used to ride this all the time off road in the fields by his house. He said even with him on it, it pulled through everything. The bike was parked running a

71 Honda SL-70, 4 Stroke, 4 Speed, Street Legal Trail Bike, Last registered in 1976. The bike was recently painted in a professional downdraft paint booth with Sherwin williams paint. For my asking price of the bike you most likely could not buy the materials and have someone paint it. This is a great start to a project bike, looks great. Many other parts are included such as the original license

These two peugeot mopeds have been together since they were made/bought new. Both made in april of 1980. The two's serial numbers are 3 numbers away from each other and the license plates are 1 number away! They have been sitting in the garage for a while. I am the third owner, although the second owner did not have them long at all. They have the desirable aluminum mag wheels on them, both r
hard to find parts im guessing?
just picked up one, missing the tank, headlight and most of the motor. Let me know if you have anything or can steer me in the right direction. Thanks.
Yeah, its the TS-Enduro, (TSE) The rear sprocket is geared extremely tall. The guy i bought it from said he only rode it off road, and that it did really well. Just trying to get an idea of how many were produced, what years they were made. Is it a 2 or 1 speed. Thanks, Ill post pictures tomorrow.
I just scored a 1978 peugeot enduro. Its really big for a moped, still has pedals, large nobbie off road tires. Has plate and clean title, parked running. Scored this jewel for $50 bucks :) I have had a ton of mopeds, but have never seen one like this. Anyone have any information of this ped? Is it pretty rare?
