Did you go to the Mopewarehouse site?when you type in "Peugeot 103" all you get is Motor Preformance parts. There are'nt any carbs or air-filters for sale.
Where can you buy an air-filter for a Peugeot 103?I looked at the moped warehouse. I don't think that they sell carbs, let alone air-filters for the peugeot anymore.
I'v gotta get me one of those filters. Anything that creates a forward sucktion. Because my ped has a tendancy to die at low, and sometimes high RPMs.No filter = Bad
Is there any way to make an air filter for a 1977 Peugeot? There's a pic of the carb here : http://mopedwarehouse.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/36_65/products_id/148I'm a college student, and am pritty tight on cash. I just want to get some ideas that would improve the performance of my ped.

Does anyone have any remedy's for a Peugeot 103 (1977) engine that overheats? The engine will get very hot when riding on flat terrain for long periods of time, or when going up hills.currently the moped is lacking:-an air filter-gas cap-side skirtsI have to twist the idle screw all the way in for it to run.., (this makes my mixture very rich, and my exhaust smoky).any recommendations would b
I know this question has been asked 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000....butI need to know an absolute way of cleaning the rust out of my gas tank on the 1977 Peugeot 103. Its gotten so bad that I now use a water bottle in place of the tank. This has been a problem ever since I got the ped.Does anyone have an absolute method of rust removal for a tank that is welded to the frame?
I know that the carb is a Gurtner ( its the same type in the manual). The float can be adjusted because I'v done it many times. The engine will only idle when the "plastic bobber" is pushed (adjusted)lower than the midway point of that metal tooth pic thing that it sits on. I noticed that if I pushed the float so that it sat near the top of the "tooth pic", gas would piss o
ok, then all that is happening is the float bowl is constantly getting fuel when its not supposed to(when its sitting in the shed). So all I got to do is crimp that house, until I can find a valve.maby I can find a manual for my Peugeot 103 on line too, so I can find out the specs on how far up the needle that float is supposed to be.Thank you very much for your help.It saved me a lot of head ache
Where on the carb would this valve be?, I have the fuel line going to a separate gas tank(Its a pollen springs bottle, a lot cleaner that the original tank).Originally there was'ent a fuel valve on the fuel line or tank (the fuel line went strait from the tank, to a filter, to the carb), I'v never looked for one on the carb though. How I adjust the float level?
It does not have a petcock, so I gess I'll order a new float bowl.
The first time I took the clutch off on my 103 I reassembled it wrong. When it came time to drive the it, things went NUTTS.--Make sure to reassemble it right the first time, and you will be saved from a lot of frustration :^)
Hey my name is Joe, I have a Peugeot 103 (1977), and the carb leaks gas when its just sitting around(its a drip every for very one minute).I have adjusted the float bowl in many different positions, but the fuel just keeps leaking. Is their a way to find out if there is any special modifications that has to be made on the Peugeot carbs?I just want to stop the gradual leaking, if anyone has an idea
Thank you all very much :)
