tomos? in iowa? where?yes, those decals look great. i wish tomos would realize that the reason most people buy their current mopeds is for the vintage appeal, and stop trying to make their new decals look so ugly and extreme, if they went back to this style theyd look a million times better right ot of the box.

i'm picky, and i never pay over $300 for a moped, everi would gladly purchase that. the engine turns over, as long as thats the case i'm usually up to the getting-it-running part.any missing shit is probably standard CEV shit anyway that you might be able to buy new.

yeah, my friend ordered a hat and some books one time, one from amazon, one from pegleg...neither arrived and both were confirmed delivered. we went to the post office to see if they were holding the packages for some reason, they were like "nope, nothing here under your name", he was pissed because he assumed they got stolen.we went back a week later to pick up some mail, sure enough hi

stock bars scare me at this point. you have a lot more control over your bike with narrow drop bars. i feel like im flying all over the place when i ride a stock ped, turning is a lot more sloppy.i'd say it was just for looks, but function actually does come into play.

my puch speedometer on my main bike was 1mph off, some are further. honda speedometers tend to be pretty accurate. tomos are notoriously generous.

yeah, its never 100% whats gonna be on what year. 78 was when they introduced the plastic switches, but if there were parts leftover, they kept using them. also different regions got different parts sometimes....could be a 79.31 miles could be true. the seat is nice, the switches arent broken, and the cylinder/head are still fully black.

if you're starting off saying "benji and treats are good people" then what was the point of this whole post? what are you trying to do? whine that they messed up or tell people that even companies that are fantastic can make mistakes sometimes? i think we're all aware of that.i fail to see the purpose of this thread.
