"The name Kromag is a portmanteau of chrome and magnesium referring to chrome and "mag" wheels." Kromag - Moped WikiI might be wrong here, this has always been my interpretation of the logo:The image in the logo above depicts a metallurgist imo, I feel their staff is a mixing apparatus and they stand atop a vat of the liquid or solid metal they are forging. Just my 2 cents. ver

not sure about nc50, but on hobbits, i use the stock metal reed stops, and give them a little extra upward bend in the vice to allow them to open more, im pretty sure i ditched the metal piece included with the Boyesen's altogetherstep 6 says u can ditch the stock limiter but i like using it

hey folks, just got my first V1, and would like to put an expansion chamber on it. the goal is to go 80 Polini, and cut a puch exhaust header for a 19mm carb.it is a Fantic Lei, so clearance is a concern with the 10 inch wheels, aiming not have it scrape or extend past the rear wheel.I am a huge fan of Proma pipes (expecially the old school GP etc) hack and weld or convert to sidebleed :shrug:going

It seems every spring I get a new bicycle to kick off the year, then work my way to mopeds, and by fall I'm just getting to motorcycles. Every winter I tell myself I'll break the cycle and stick to just motos, but I always get bit by the bicycle bug again. This year I scored a Motobecane Grand Record with full Shimano 600 Arabesque. Put all my usual essential components on it, some Kenda

I was talking to my buddy and he pointed out how the edm pipe is basically a circuit pipe cut and rewelded.Personally I'd buy this pipe from DOS. For the money I don't think you can beat it. Mine came with a bunch of nice hardware for the ball joint and springs and such. Unless you want used . You would want to go Airsal tho. Building on a budget is fun, tho for how cheap u can get av10

after the mini moto thing wears off... step through mopeds are where its at. way more chill imo. id personally slam the seat with a rack for the party, or get a long seat for dubs and plant that as low as possible. before anything else, id get a techno boss pipe, or bi-turbo, #1 grandpa intake, and a 14 or 15mm bing. high comp head, and some porting if your getting spicy before you kit (go Airsal

i read that some electric/hybrid cars when u let off the acceleration, as you passively decelerate/cruise the electric motor(s) charges the battery. if your not using the ebike hub when in moped mode, could u charge up the battery system like that? could be a really chill concept for a slow, sustainable, distance build

My buddy had a haunted stock Pacer with an m01It was your average slow bike from 1-15 mph, then from 15-30 it had a decent power band for a stock pipe... The strange thing was, after 30mph you would hit a wall, if you kept it wot and had enough room it would just keep getting faster little by little. I was riding a modified e50 at the time, that would hit 36-8 and given a long enough straight away

i had thought that puch sold its designs to piaggio, so the frame was tube style like a grande, with a rework e50... but then i did some research cus mine was missing the 22mm oddball petckock, and supposedly jawa had something to do with it, i think piaggio owned the rights and design for the frame, but jawa was the distributor or somethingi bought mine for the yukka mags (16in), the bottom half
