UPDATE --So I got my hands on a stock M1 14mm intake and it fits the frame perfect, but it needs to be slightly longer to get my carb away from the frame. Right now the carb won't fully seat onto the intake and has to be tilted sideways to work. I'm thinking of getting one of these:https://www.treatland.tv/Dellorto-SHA-intake-ADAPTER-p/sha-to-phbg-intake-adapter.htmThat would allow me

Where are you located?

Need the one with the 90 degree bend, not the front-facing. Let me know if you have one.

Yeah, I have a box with a range of Jets just not sure what to expect. I'll do the same thing I did when I installed the bigger carb, upjet and then keep swapping in smaller jets until it stops 4-stroking. Seemed to work pretty well last time

I bought this kithttps://www.doscycles.com/products/morini-eurocilindro-42mm-reed-valve-kit-for-m01-m02?_pos=5&_sid=1b31683f9&_ss=rI plan to get it installed here shortly but haven't done a cylinder swap on a moped before. I have a new gasket set as well as a 15mm intake and 15.15 SHA carb (intake and carb are already on the stock cylinder and run well)I think I have a mid-to-low 60&

I've been trying to work this out too, do either of you feel like mailing a few of these my way for some cash?

I put all my wiring back together with a new light switch, cleaned the points and I got spark back. Thanks for the help, everyone. I really appreciate it.

Nope, no resistor on my tail light

I guess I'm just a bit confused as to what all can kill the spark. How can I rule out my coil? My condenser?Everyone wants to point to my tail lights (which makes sense since I lost spark after hitting the brake with a brand new tail light assembly hooked up), but what would cause it? The bulbs are fine - they both work. My switches seem to be working. So what else is there?I've torn the

My no spark issue has me stumped. I'm ready to have someone more experienced with mopeds to have a look.Basically I lost spark one day when I hit the brakes and it hasn't come back. My bulbs are both good, they light up when I spin the engine with a drill. With my coil power wire hooked up to the distribution block, all my other wires suddenly have continuity to ground. If I disconnect.my

UPDATE:I checked for continuity to ground from the kill switch, and the red wire at the kill switch was grounded when the switch was in "run" position. I followed the wire and disconnected it from the terminal block bear the engine so I could isolate the front half of the wiring and the rear half, and the red wire was no longer grounded.I poked around a bit and found that if I take the r

Grey goes to ground (throughout the whole bike grey is ground) and red goes into the condenser. The red wire does spark when grounded out. Also, my bra

I had to replace the head gasket on my Morini M01. I got it swapped out and went to fire it up -- no spark.I had recently replaced the throttle handle so I took a look and found one of the brake light switch wires wasn't connected all the way, so I pushed it back on and I had a beautiful bright spark. The bike fired up and idled great. I let it run while I cleaned up my tools. I reached over a

The sound I heard was a leaking head gasket.

Hey everyone. Been slowly getting my bike legal and running well. It's been great so far. Today I received my new tail light and I went to install it, I had it wired up temporarily to make sure I had everything correct before I finalized it. It was able to get the bike to fire up a couple times but it died immediately. So I start troubleshooting the starting issue. Kill switch set to "on&

It's a genuine Dellorto stock to the bike. I'll grab an O ring assortment to go with my new shim, hopefully this will solve my issue and I can start tuning it. I'm guessing this leak has been there forever, because ever since I started messing with it when I was like 12 it never ran very strong.
