Just an update to this thread for future readers. Apparently Honda had originally equipped these with the hub housing as part of the freewheel assembly. I searched the country and finally found a couple dealerships who had OEM parts. The replacement parts are the correct match which must of been a design modification making the hub housing and actual freewheel separate components-- much like your
I have gotten a new freewheel ordered so I decided to pull this thing off. Unfortunately for me I didn't realize that that whole hub assembly comes with it. Anyway, I got it apart and I'm in need for some internal parts or a complete used assembly would help. See photo on what parts are missing, lmk if anyone can help, thanks!-Jim
Got this thing going finally but noticed that the chain comes off of the tensioner. Kept readjusting it but the chain still works it loose. The engine engages the pedals and there's no more freewheeling/disengagement from the engine to keep the pedal freely moving. Anywhere to start? This is beginning to bum me out and I'd hate to take it to some service place if i can DIY it myself!
I need a speedometer assembly with the rubber seal if you got one from an old Express/NA50, etc. Also ( I know it's a shot in the dark) a rear view mirror for one of these as well. I haven't had time to check out here on the forums but I can always be contacted via email at firstname.lastname@example.org -- I'm just trying to get my NA50 road-ready over here and any help would be appreciated

I was wondering on how much$$ i could get for a near mint Motobecane TL. It's a 1976, complete with owners manual. I have a "always on" fuel valve, but have a replacement on order and in the mail. Runs perfect, just turned 2000 miles. Make me offers!! I want to buy another moped that I have my eye on.
