I did a small cycling apparel "business" the past few years so I'd offer you some advice - I don't think you'll find value in asking ppl what they want - it's about surprising them; that's the whole key to selling someone something they don't actually need. As for what to make, the answer is easy - make something that YOU would want to wear. Sometimes your s

Let us know where you end up mounting your box on the magnum!the only time I was ever pulled over on a moped was for the Tm24/Destroyer volume and I can't say I blame the officer for doing it. My za stock crank gave up the ghost so I'm swapping that out and then getting back to this fun, I still like the idea of trying to come up with a box shape that could fit in the recesses under the

had so much fun finding this treasure.Started playing around with a Bing, but I plan to switch to my phbg once I get a rear facing intake. I have it in my head to route hose from the carb through that frame gap between the two top engine bolts, and then up into the magnum side covers because I'm a ruthless minimalist. Of course that will require opening that frame space by the carb up a bit,

whoa, amazing!! homey did a real good job sounding like an authentic seller of a rusty ol' derbi laguna. Guess I oughta do my DD from now on.

I called yesterday, dude sounded plenty real and said it was sold.Too bad I rage-blocked craigslist alerts on my gmail a few years ago, faceplam

thanks dudes, I seriously love reading the feedback here that can help me understand the theory more. when I was younger and deep into this stuff, I would just throw more money at a problem and buy the bigger kit/carb/pipe, rather than trying to get actual insight. I'm still just really curious why some seem to have no issues with this kit, and some do; maybe differences in castings from dif

I didn't notice a damn thing. Yes you are correct, it gets to that cusp, whereas the tccd kit I have on the other bike hits that and shoots up again to 9k+. No difference with a circuit pipe vs that MLM sidebleed. TCCD kit came with a 19phbg on it (I put that on my main bike and that's a joy), guess I'll swap the carbs to see what happens. Wouldn't be satisfied even if that did

ahh, thanks, good lookin' out!! I'll wait until someone happens to hit me up.

Hey all, friend gave me his old maxi and the circuit pipe is harshing my mellow (im old now), estorils seem to be unobtainium since i got back into this stuff (maybe just quarantine), wondering if anyone has something in reasonably good shape.

just 2 days ago was remarking how nantucket and marthas vineyard must be goldmines from the small island tourism, but that the atlantic air would be cruel. good luck with the sale!

thanks for the feedback and comic relief!I dug up my old special VERY FLAT GLASS™ and got to work. I measured in six different locations of the cylinder skirt to check my work periodically. Then I got impatient (you can only treat ADD so much) and took it to the belt sander, and finished with more lapping. For the first time ever I got a measurable squish, looks to be right about .95mm on the very

Hey folks,I boomeranged back to mopeds and have been playing with a cheapo kstar. The silly thing struggles to rev past 7500k unless I have gravity helping me out.- unported kit, B- case matching job (it's just mild), thick enough base gasket to just let exhaust fully clear- za50, have tried both 20x40 and 18x40, same RPM ceiling basically- pretty mostly confident it's buttoned up tight
birdsy —— — 1 year ago
oh also i'll probably want to add a few bucks shipping or so based on what ya buy (at least with the bigger stuff)

Hey I have some old stuff I want to move. Would trade stuff for a puch 30s range rear sprocket, PHBG 80s range jets/filter (for 19mm). I don't actually expect anyone is going to want this stuff but hey why not.1. 30 bucks: neon green 340mm shocks, very brief use, these: https://www.treatland.tv/ltd-edition-NEON-YELLOW-adjustable-shocks-340mm-p/340-neon-yel-shocks-puch340ny.htm2. 30 bucks: eba

actually on the topic of discussion, I used to have a binder I got from a DMV employee friend that listed every "limited use motorcycle" that you could register in NYS, and what classes it could be done as, but I tossed it years ago. Now the DMV dude works at a wine store down the street, I'm gonna ask if he still has a copy

I want like some real minty ones if anyone has them and wants to make a little cash. Bonus cash if they have any of the old instructional stickers or whatever.Or I would trade the shocks that are in the attached picture if your covers are decently nice!

Sorry for the disturbance all, but I need to get Artur Kawa to see this message from me. He hasn't responded to my last emails. So, Artur:Please refund my $150 immediately for the ZA50 I tried to buy from you on July 7th. Ironically I sent you the money as a gift so that you wouldn't have to pay extra frees, so I'm not able to settle this via Paypal. Unless I'm wrong about that.

Want one of these, doesn't need to have a top end, would like to know it runs well, don't want one that has cut transfers, I guess I'd be interested in one rebuilt with a better crank but don't want to spend a ton, thanks guys.

Hey folks, I'm bumping this as the amazing Ty has supplied me with the missing nut.So this engine is complete now.If someone would like to buy this, I'd like to pay that forward and include a sizeable collection of Mikuni hex and idle jets, and some extra clutch springs that you can try out.I was in an accident and lost my bike two days ago so help me out to getting back on the road!!
birdsy —— — 9 years ago
left hand threads indeed.i believe ty is sending me one so if someone wants this it should be complete in a little while.

hey guys, sorry ive been busy with work.yea the lomat is such a dummy so i wouldnt be surprised. a friend of mine used quite a lot of threebond sealant to keep his onto a race engine.i talked to ryan about his questions, its the normal right hand thread big thin nut that clamps the variator onto the clutch bell, and not the left hand nut that clamps the clutch bell onto the crank shaft. and i sti
