helloI have a jawa 210I need a clutch for it, will any clutch do? I know that it has a rubber belt attached to the cluth. Is there any other bike that has the same setup? Can I get a variator clutch installed? Does anyone know if it is possible to weld that ruber belt sproket another clutch (i gather that it is not a good idea and might vibrate a lot if not done perfectly). What do you guys thi
Are you sure that the carb is the problem? It might be the condensor's fault... and I heard that peugeot's condensors are problem prone too. (mine was)I had a prroblem with a Peugeot 102 that looked like a carb problem. ie no power, sort of clogging down, eventual misfires.Have you checked the spark plug, is it fouled?Martin
Thank You. I will try that, sounds like a good idea.Martin.
Does anyone know what size the inner thread is on a Jawa 210 flywheel?I need this tool, does anyone know where I can get my hands on one of these. Are there other mopeds whose flywheel housing inner threads are the same size as the Jawa 210's? If there are, maybe I could order from moped warehouse or something like that.Thank You.Martin
I thought i fixed the moped when I cut 1cm off the ignition cable at the spark plug. It has better spark and I thought that it wouldn't stall anymore.I just noticed that when it is wet, and i slow down or stop - it stalls. Sometimes It happens while slowing down, most of the time it happens when I want to accelerate after have stopped or have slowed down sufficiently (5km/h or so...).Obviou
i suggest that you tighen the boltsi had this same problemi actually liked the sound of it, choppy, like a helicopterbut then... the vibrations were so strong that my spark plug cap cracked so i decided to tighen it.give that a try. it won't cost you anything to tighten the bolts. I am quite sure it will fix the problem../martin/
i know excactly what your problem is!tighten ALL the bolts that hold the engine to the framei had this same problem with my jawa 210every now and then it would loosen up. and i would get that cling cling and extreme vibrationsso like i said tighen all bolts that mount the engine to the frame. good luck, tell me if that fixed it, i am positive it will../martin/
I fixed it. The ignition cable (at the spark plug) was worn out.I cut 1cm off of it and now it runs, idles really well.I guess that it becoming loose as soon as the rpms went up and lost spark as soon as i gave it gas (must have been the vibrations), it also explains the lose of power when riding it full throttle.I am one happy mopeder.:-P
I disconnected the fuel line (at the carb) and opened the petcock valve. The fuel came out strong.
by the way, i tried adjusting the idle screw and that doesn't make the problem go away.
I have a 1976 honda pc50 .It starts up great and idles great at the beginning. When I ride it for a 1km or so, it seems to lose a little bit of power. The problem is that when I stop after that, it idles sometimes, sometimes it doesn't idle and dies (or and as soon as i give it some gas from a standstill, it dies very quickly (ie. as soon as i open throttle) - sometimes)I checked the petcock, i
Hi Phil, I need the petcock's handle (it is missing in your petcock), mine is broken off. I will pass on the petcock, but I am interested in plastic side panels if yours are in fair condition. Also, break levers and break lines (if in fair condition). Thank You. Martin
