^^ I just realized that's how my music teacher engraved our names in our recorders in elementary school, hahaha. This didn't cross my mind when I was case matching with a Dremel though, since I was having a hard time imagining what else it could be used for other than making my kit sweeter. ;)

Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain will always be my top...it holds a special place in my heart. :) I never had the chance to see Pavement live, but I've seen SM&Jicks which will have to do.

I'm non-branch in a city with a branch, but my friends and I have our own rad thing going. Convert some other kids in your town if you want a group to ride with, and try not to stress about the small stuff (like name logos). However, if I ever did become an official member, I like that shirt idea serene posted. :)

Hmm...I'm sure I'm forgetting a few good ones, but here are a few that pop to mind instantly...My first rock concert was Smashing Pumpkins on the Mellon Collie tour, so that's pretty memorable (about a week before the heroin disaster that happened on that tour).Driving to Lawrence, KS/KCMO from DC to see The Get Up Kids' farewell shows and getting a setlist from the last night.

I think a 1-2 is still sort of one punch, even though it's technically two...if that makes sense.

This is probably my favorite post you've posted thus far. I have season 1 of Pete and Pete and Clarissa on DVD...I saw it in the store a few years back and couldn't resist! Salute Your Shorts is also where I learned that giraffes have black tongues. :)

Check the Richmond Craigslist...I don't know of anyone who needs a roommate, but I've heard there's a bunch of stuff for rent right now. If you want to be close to Downtown, don't look at places that say West End, Southside, etc...some of those places say 20 minutes to Downtown, but that's not that close for being in the city.

What about those fan things you can sit your laptop on? I know I've seen them at office supply stores..they probably take some sort of plug power though. :/

Little Ceasar's (at least the one around here) throws out those $5 pizzas every hour, still in the box. As for non-food items, I know I'm personally looking forward to the end of the semester...I live right near one university and work for another nearby (private, no less, ca-ching!), so I'm hoping to score some sweet furniture.

Despite feeling sick and the weather being crappy, my Garelli got spark for the first time today, so it makes things all better. :)

But they still have that cloud feel to my feet (especially if I step in a puddle...then my foot is like a raincloud)! I guess if these ones still feel awesome, the new ones will feel magical...I'm just afraid to give up the old ones. :)

Yeah!! Best shoes ever. I've been wearing the same pair since 2002 now...the hole in the bottom of the left one is telling me it might be time to switch to the new pair I've had sitting in my room for over a year...

In elementary school I wore the white hi-tops...this started when my dad bought me basketball shoes when I joined the rec league (early 90s, btw, haha). By middle school, I wore the same shoes but decorated them with markers and glitter and whatnot. In high school, I switched to yellow lo-tops, and now I wear the black lo-tops when I'm not wearing my sneakers of choice (blue Sauconys).
