I don't the direct answer but when I lived in Italy everyone had Pollini and Malossi parts. Those Ciaos and Bravos where fast as hell! You may want to think about some kinda brace for the frame. So you don't kill yourself.I've also heard of broken welds when there is too much torque involved too.
The release for the choke is when you open up the throttle all the was. I found that out during cleaning. What performance increase do you think I'll see if I switch these out?
Let me know when you get an answer..I have have a 14/12 I have cleaned and is just about ready to go.It looks pretty simple to do but documentation is always a plus! The only draw back I see is that there is not place for the choke cable. It looks like the lever for choking is on the carb itself. Also you may need a new intake.
I agree with the air leak.By the way don't forget my Bill of Sale for the Peugeot!!
Damn this is worse than EBay
Have you heard of harbor freight tools. They have cheap stuff. There is one in Aurora and I think Rockford. Welders start at around $100.I have a arc welder if you need to use one. I have all the rods, helmet, gloves, magnets and all. The only draw back is that it's 220v and uses 60A. So it's powerful and needs a special outlet.
Hence the J/K at the end...

I do have the old cable but I had to cut it to help remove it. It was broken anyway. I'll look em up. It looks simple enough to manufacture.
