Hoping for some final words of advice before I venture into unfamiliar territory with my Moby.I installed a 74cc ParmaKit on the thing a few days ago, everything went swimmingly. However, I can't get the thing to start now.I have spark, I have gas, I upjetted from a 64 to a 70. I had the Parma head (no decomp) on it, but ended up replacing the stock head with decomp in hopes that it would hel

I just put a paramkit on my moby, everything mechanical seems right as rain, but the thing won't start. I'm a certified moron when it comes to wiring and I think/hope I reconnected the wires incorrectly. Any help is massively appreciated. Here's some photos of what I've got going on with the electrical:--the three red wired attached in the middle are- the headlight, the tail li

3. Riding dirty in Chicago?

So I've recently from Ypsilanti Michigan to Chicago. Getting your bike legal here seems like a pretty massive undertaking in comparison to the old MI laws. My question-Is it as difficult as it seems to get a kitted moped sans title registered in Chicago? The DMV website says I need a title, insurance, and a separate endorsement to ride legal here. That's a lot of cash and based on how st

I'm definitely at 1.5mm(ish) before dead center, and the collar on the carb is sealed.However... what are spi seals? Admittedly, I tried to google it, and I still don't get it.By opening up the exhaust, do you mean the cylinder, or de-restricting the actual exhaust? If cylinder- done. If de-restriction- how?

Thanks guys, this helps.I know I have a small air leak on my carb intake. I also have all the weights in my variator still. Should I lose one? Does that make the motor drop easier? Also, my engine bushing is a little dry rotted. Could that be holding it back?As far as lubrication goes, what are the spots I should be checking? The dry rotted bushing maybe? Thanks again! This bike is giving me nightma

6. Motobecane rips on kickstand, otherwise sucks.

I have a motobecane 50L modified into a 50V. Stock variator, switched the gearing to standard 50V, 15 SHA with a 62 jet, stock pipe, and mild porting on the stock cylinder. On the kickstand, the thing revs up like crazy, but once you get on it, it bogs out and hits 25 tops on a city block straight away. It's not 4stroking, just horribly slow. The timing is on, the spark is strong, the engine
