So, I am in Wisconsin and just put my Puch in the basement. So it will be out of the elements and low temps.Suggestions on what else to do...fill the tank with gas v empty it?add a stablizer?other things a new 1978 Puch Newport owner should know/do?Thanks much!Corey.

I have the longer seat but am hoping to add a rear rack or basket of some kind. Any hints on wear to get this? Do the Newports with longer seats allow for rear rack space?Cheers.Corence

To title my Puch the DMV document asks the police to locate the VIN in "two spots." I see the stamp on the neck. Where might the other one be.Thanks,Corey

what is the thought on not having a moped regisrered. i live in wisconsin. if i buy a moped without a title should i be worried?do cops care? do you get stopped (w/ or w/o a "real" license plate)?what are the risks?
