someone wants to sell me 2002 tomos revival for with 3,600 miles...needs battery supposedly. What is the value of this? How many miles is high for this bike?

Depends if your clutch is housed inside the gearbox. If its housed inside then yes...you need sae 10w30 oil in the case.

Also when I put the bike down off the kick-stand it stalls when spinning wheel contacts the pavement.

Finally got my 85 garelli running. I am not sure if my clutch is engaged all the time or not. If I have it ideling on the kick-stand should the back wheel still move? How do the clutches work in these things? Centrifugal clutch? How do I tell if my clutch is engaging and disengaging properly? I took the case off last night and found some rubber from the clutch on the bottom of the case is there so

Sounds like a carb problem...do you have a fuel filter? Try cleaning the carb and replacing the fuel filter.

1977 Garelli Rally SL. After adjusting the dellorto 14:12 carb on my bike numerous times I got it to run and it even seemed to idle somewhat ...But it still floods... when I pull the jug out it is obviously saturated in gas. Having troubles...does anyone know what I should do? Smaller jet size?

I need to know where to find a starter cam for a 85 garelli. It doesnt look the same as the ones on the 70s models but they still might work. Does anyone know the part number or a good site for garelli parts?

I found a SSXL garelli 1985 that had been in a barn for 16 years for $100. Looks good and its all there. Problem is the guy said before he put it away it stalled going up hill. Whats the problem? Ideas?

strong blue spark...I put a new carb on it. Any idea why I have to run so fast to get it going...Too much gas? I took the old jet I had in my old carb but same thing happens.

I cant get my ped to run unless I run really fast and pop the clutch. Then I must keep the gas on full go...soon as i slow down it stalls? ANy sugestions? also look at picture did someone bypass a bad point running a wire on connection block from yellow to blue?

Does the slide in your carb open fully on your garelli? I like your idea but if the slide doesent open fully then you wont get the top speed out of your ped.

I have a 77 garelli gs and I just put a new carb on but the choke lever sticks and wont release...I think I need to tighten the cable tension right? Also It wont start unless I'm pulled 10mph and pop the clutch then I have to keep the throttle on full blast...as soon as I slow down or let off the coke it dies. any suggestions? Also look at the picture...I had some work done years ago on it an

I have the same problem...I believe we need to adjust the tension on the throttle cable. RIGHT?

yes my Ht coil is gounded to the frame with a wire. I have 77 GS. hope this helps

is there an easy way to wire this up quick without the head lights and so forth...connect to HT coil and ground.
