Can I use one of the overhall kits? I'd like a whole new cylinder head, because my exhaust bolts have been sheared and are stuck into the current one. If so which one do I need for an FA50?Here is the link.http://www.discountscooterparts.com/rebuild_kits.htm

Madison — 14 years ago
Forum: Performance
I've heard that you can get more power out of your ped by simply getting a larger cylinder or somhow extending the cylinder block and bolting it back on. Is this true? I have a Suzuki FA50 that I would like to get a little more power out off, any ideas?I could also use parts for this ped if anyone has any...

I have a C70 as well...this week i have rebuilt the carb, cleaned out the gas tank and put new fuel lines on it, and during my first ride of each day it will run like a dream. Then, when i try to stop about 20 minutes into the ride it will die and won't start unless the bike is on full choke and full throttle....Any ideas?I was thinking it may be the dead battery- but really it acts like it is

Forum: Repair
Thanks guys,I will tear the carb down and see what i got...I figured i could be heading that route when i could find no fuel regulator on any parts site...Interesting thing happened last night after having the fuel off for a couple hours...i turned the fuel to on and you could hear it suck fuel into the bowl...like intense rush of fuel that you could see run through the filter....Thoughts on this?

Madison — 14 years ago
Forum: Repair
So,I have a beautiful passport, but i believe s0meone has removed the fuel regulator that would come on the fuel line right before the carb... i placed a small fuel filter there to help slow the gas down, and it helped, but when the ped is running with the fuel on completely, it will eventually sputter. I change the petcock to reserve or off while riding and it smoothsback out for a bit, until it

Hello All,I just picked up a new to me Suzuki FA50 (1984). I have found that the exhaust/muffler has come detached from the cylinder block. If anyone has one please let me know.I may also be interested in a new rear wheel...Thanks for any
