The original rack (pictured) is different, it’s “kinked” where it mounts and angles out to the front, unlike the MLM rack. The shape of the MLM rack seems like it is gonna hit the cap no matter what you do from looking at it…On second thought, add some spacers on the inside of the mounting bracket where your bolts go through to space it out so it doesn’t tighten down and clamp on itself, and that
