MoMopeds (formally MopedSTL) is a website / forum I have help run and admin for 5 years, we are needing new servers and as much as I would love to float MoMopeds by myself I just can’t.I am reaching out to the community to help fund this project. Please help us land to our new home with our feet firmly on the ground. At the end is a link to donate. Do not hesitate to ask questions, shoot me a mess

Just to keep things in the clear, Benj says the following about the Malossi 21mm PHBG: "hey ya you could go either way, whatever you like depending on clearance... malossi designed it for clamp mount though! thanks! benji."

Side note! Does anyone know if the 21 PHBG intake is for clamp on or hose mount carbs?https://www.treatland.tv/honda-MB5-malossi-21mm-PHBG-intake-p/honda-mb5-malossi-intake.htmJake: do you know off hand where to tap the case so it splits?

19. Re: Kitted Batavus Clutch suggestions?

Tom STL — 10 years ago

Andrews suggestion could work, depending on the revs you're getting out of the motor. Batavus are notoriously low-rev machines.

Good thought, but not a readily available option, I won't put this motor in my home oven and I don't own a heat gun.

BUMP it up to the top. After a catastrophic engine failure I am back and rebuilding.Any tips on splitting the case halves? Everything is removed, but cases won't budge!I don't have the special tool either.

Yeah, on an E50.I absolutely love it, the lowend leaves a little to be desired (15x36) on a rigid freespirit frame with a Honda disc front end but a comfortable 45-47mph up top, good gas mileage.Tuned 3-shoe, don't remember weights off hand.

Tom STL — 10 years ago

Are they cut at a certain angle or just 90°?Could be for fluid cooling or movement of fluid around the pad, I like that they come pre-lightened a bit, thats a nice touch, I do not care for no e-ring retention on the shoe pivot point.
