i really doubt i have the time or energy for that
Groove Champion — 11 years ago
you know, i'd be willing to do $350 without the gauges and dash (but it'll screw up the wiring). and if you have the engine side starter lever for a v1, that'd be cool too.

lighting coil? the headlight +. The yellow wire coming out of the wiring block? I'm pretty sure it's yellow. Do you want me to go look? I can show you if you like. i ended up with 4 splits off the wiring, so i had to cram it all into a box so it wasnt quite as messy.

the 60mph speedo wasn't original to the ltd, to be honest i have no idea where it came from. I got it with a dash a couple years ago. It's nice though, you dont have to guess or depend on gps to figure it out.
Groove Champion — 11 years ago
one off the yellow from the coil and one ground

I should probably mention there's been a debate about this in the past. If this was the original tach or not. Hard to say, from what i understand they were so rare no one really knows for sure. I've seen 2 people both claiming to have seen one, both with differing opinions. I have pictures of your other options if you like

It says vdo on iti have one, but i'm trying to sell it with a bike. I'll take it off for the right price, but we're talking an insane amount of money for just that

did you get the e50 from a korado? I'd sorta like to see the coils on this thing. Its not that i dont believe you, it just doesnt seem to line up with any native e50 ive ever seen. maybe someone else replaced something?
Groove Champion — 11 years ago
is it a regular points ignition? what colors do you have coming out of the e50? There's a few things you can do here, but just let us know the details. The more information you post, the better.

What carb are you running?what does your plug look like?does it idle ok with the choke on?
Groove Champion — 11 years ago
i have have a stock za50. with a cylinder that just will not come off. One of the studs is slightly different from the others, the threads continue further down, it's also bent ever so slightly.I couldn't slide the cyl off, so i removed the three studs it wasnt stuck to in the hopes it would give me the wiggle room to pull the bastard off, but that was a no go. the remaining stud is a

Do exactly what grey said, but rather then hammer, put it in a vice with a socket on the opposite side on the crank from the nut.

it started before 9/11, like 1997. I worked at a very large ISP at the time and the FBI forced the company kicking and screaming to install a software called Carnivore. It changed slightly over the years, but it's a reality of the internet most people dont even realize.

i like yellow tygon (F-4040-A), it's expensive as hell but it never breaks down. you can get from amazon or a hundred other places.
Groove Champion — 11 years ago
what's the plug look like?check the float too.
Groove Champion — 11 years ago
Realistically i think methane (biogas) would be your best bet. Obviously you'd be talking about some sort of oil injection set up though, but that wouldn't be overly difficult. Finding a way to compress the biogas is gonna be the problem.any bio diesel type fuel would almost certainly require injection, so that's pretty much out. those little bastard airplane engines use kerosene

I've always been curious as the what the proper gauges are for the puch magnum ltd.As far as i know there was an option tach (12k?) that i've never actually seen. Was it the large monza version or the smaller one similar to the puch speedo? Was the speedo 30mph? 60mph?So which is correcttreats larger 8k tachlarger monza style 12k tach and 80kph speedo (mopedhq)30mph and 60mph speedo, sma

They all closed down, shops are still there, signs are still up.what was it 39 cent hamburgers? We'd always go, order, then go knock on the back door saying they forgot something. yeah yeah i know, at those prices you shouldn't scam, but i was 14, what'd i care.

yeah, i've seen it done of 4 strokes, i assume 2 strokes would work just as well.you basically just put a sparkplug in the tailpipe and it ignites the unburnt fuel. i'd be sorta worried the lack of valves might cause the case fuel to ignite as well.
Lucky — 13 years ago
first off, flamethrowers? you mean, what little cannons that shoot out flame?it is possible to turn the tail pipe into a psuedo flamethrower with the 3 whole parts, but, given that it's illegal as hell, and i mean illegal. not only would you face a moving violation, you'd likely face some crazy ass charge like reckless endangerment.seriously, just forget about it.

1977 has one, well sorta, tosses it off to the side, works quite well
Lucky — 13 years ago
actually i think the 80's is gonna be really rich for what you're running ...I'd probably go with upper 60's into 70's depending on your filter.maybe someone else will chime in.
Lucky — 13 years ago
the last one i ordered from treats came with an 82 i think, let me look.yeah, 82, of course, i'm not running that, but that's what was in it.
Lucky — 13 years ago
so it was the damn worm gear. i put the oil injection worm gear back in and it fired right up, first kick. now i gotta figure out why that is.

so just to bring this back to life.i switched out to the stock #4 head, which took me to around 150 psi. so i ordered some additional head gaskets, popped the high comp head back on and we're now somewhere between 180-190.replaced the outer clutch cable.checked the rings, wear, etc. re-lubed. re-tourqed.new intake came, ordered a new 16.16 SHA too just for the hell of it.replaced spark pl
