Oh yeah and if you play your cards right it even mounts in the stock location.
I didn't have to bend anything just cut the pipe on the end of the expansion chamber and cut my header pipe down then just decided where I wanted it and welded it. I also wrapped the header pipe in exhaust wrap to try and keep some of the heat out of the tranny case. Hey thanks sesi!I checked in my owners manual and it does say 1/2 inch. Thank you very much for helping me out I think I'll just post these in the wiki when we are done. I'm gonna make the 30 tomorrow and depending on if you can get me the 27 I'll give that a shot too. Maybe even something like a 22 would be sweet it would take all my tourque but it would be cool to see how fast
Check your chain out. Check the tension on it make sure it's not too loose. My owners manual says 10mm of play but I think up to an inch is ok. Also make sure the chain is lined up.

Yeah it is lonely here. The only other person I've found is a guy in Lincoln that I bought the Garelli from. Sometimes it's nice just out cruising alone but I would like to find some people. I think I'm gonna just have to buy a bunch of peds and sell them to people to ride with me.
Just got my techno estoril installed on the Garelli! It fuckin flys! Way better tuned than the stock exhaust or even no muffler. Will post pics tonight.

Yeah I do have the stock pipe and gearing right now. My estoril should be here in the next couple days however and once i figure out how to adapt a rear sprocket that will be changed. Right now it's setup is 10x36 which I hope to change to atleast 10x30 to start with I would think that would make alot of difference. With the stock gearing I'm accelerating up hilss now with the kit so
I need a favor from everyone. I need to know the brand of ped and the diameter of the center circle on your rear sprocket. I'm trying to match up a rear sprocket for my garelli. If I can ind one thats the same size center circle I can just drill it to fit.

Well I got it running again today turns out I got some shit in the gas and it clogged the filter and the jet. Cleaned everything out, replaced the carb fuel filter and the in-line filter. Fired right up!! Now I just took it on about a 30 mile ride and everything seemed to run really well. Unless I was taking off up a hill I didnt even pedal it to take off and it works flawlessely.At higher spe

So I reinstalled the tubes in the intake thinking it was too lean. Fired right up and ran pretty good nice crisp throttle response. Well I put my stock pipe on and even with drilling I couldn't get it to start. So I guess I'll be getting a new one someone just emailed me with a possible pipe for it. As for the head gasket I'm running the one that comes with the polini kit should I take it out? The lip on the head is totally gone that the gasket sits on I just centered it the best I could and tightened it down
thank you for the advice steve I just ordered a 16mm sha from 1977. I am running an airfilter I have the stock unit I just removed the plugs in it to allow more air which i figured 64cc would need. I also just drilled out my pipe pretty good to allow atleast a little more than stock flow and put it back on. I figured out the deal with the head gasket when i was puting it on i had a little troub
yeah I already tried burning it out that's actually what made it so it would actually run with it. I saved it as a last resort and it was the one that actually did really good. Chrome will need some hard cleansing now but it will work atleast. I guess I'm just gonna drill it out more untill I can get a good pipe for it. What about the other questions any help with those? ok I'll make sure i get it on there I've already tried everything there is to clean it out. It'll run now with it on but performance is seriously hampered and it takes forever to start. When its off it always fires on the first kick. I guess I'll just drill out what I can of it.
all i have uis the factory one and its too plugged to even run really if i drill it out is that better? and what difference is this gonna make?
Ok so I got my new polini kit installed on my garelli. I'm running the stock 14.12 with the plugs in the filter pulled out and runnning a 68 jet right now. I am also just running an open header because my stock muffler is too clogged.1st problem - The compression is so high I can hardly get the clutch to engage enough to start it. I'm guessing this is because someone shaved the head
On the 1977 site it says that the phbg is good for the advanced tuner does that mean these things are hard to get dialed in or are they fairly simple? I'm looking to replace the 14.12 to go along with my new kit.
