Not mine, but juuuust stumbled upon it. Someone should jump on this, I'd think. I totally would but I'm getting a dream Kz650 today....and the "rule of 1" is the rule of god in my household....1 bike. That's it. LOL.Anyways....for all the NE peeps, or even NYC folks. Go get this. Incredible that it's not totally roached...like all the others I've ever seen on CL
Just doing my morning CL browsing...and ran into this guy:https://nh.craigslist.org/mcy/d/rochester-kreidler-mp-19-the-holy-grail/6846340403.htmlI dunno....i mean...it's mad nice, but I think the seller believes he's sitting on a unicorn. Sure these babies are rare, but we're not talking Derbi/LTD/AR80/TSM rare....It'll be interesting to see if it moves...Cheers, everyone.
SOLD. Sorry for the delay, dudezzzz.
Ha - goes to show you how long it's been since I've worked on any peds. It's been brought to my attention that these are now a LOT cheaper! Whoops. Sorry about that.15.00 shipped to your new killer custom project ped.
Boy, been a while since posting here. Long time, in fact. Definitely check in a few times a year....but mopeds aren't much part of my life at this point other than a Foxi project that will likely never get finished. Here is the set of Primo pedals bought from 1977 ten (yes 10!) years ago. They're brand new. Never mounted on anything. Paid 55.00+ shipping back then....35.00 shipped to your
Sorry, guys....Craigslist binging this morning while drinking coffee. Doubt anyone here has 3k lying around, but this is probably worth it. Damn. Again, not mine, but thought folks might like to see it...https://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/mcy/5881557695.html
Not mine, but found the ad while searching for RD400's. Thought some folks here would be interested....dunno if the Orphanage in Brooklyn is still going these days. I've been out of peds for a while now.Anyways, probably worth a swing through by somebody....maybe even get a group together and make a crazy offer for the whole lot. I'll bet the guy wants them gone.https://newyork.crai
Not mine.Price seems insane, but may not be. Man, looks relatively rust free and complete. Damn. I would ride the SHIT out of that!http://albany.craigslist.org/mcy/5439202950.html
Well….it made 2k, kind of where I thought it would end up.Didn't see those engine bolts. Yikes! Wonder if someone got screwed.ANYONE HERE GET IT??!?!
Hey SABAT!Yeah, Derek....been there, done that, with eBay drama-lama. Feels like you're the only one bummed I posted this.I'm not bidding...nor is my bro. Plus..it's all the way out in New England...soooo...none of the broke moped riders are paying to ship it anyways....nor are any broke moped riders paying 2k+ for it in all likelihood.Wonder who wants a museum piece Monza anyways?!
My brother and I missed on one at an estate sale south of Boston about 3 years ago. Missed it by, like, 30min…and it sold for 600.00. Basically mint. We offered the buyer 1500.00 for it and he wouldn't sell. Been kicking our faces in ever since. No clue about this one…but it's not the one we missed out on. Looks amazing. Gotta think the reserve is in the 2k range…and TOTALLY worth it.GODD
Wow - haven't seen that bike in years. That is a killer deal…different pipe than the original though, right?
This is awesome.I've worked on one rotary valve twin before...my brother's Kawi A7SS. It was a bad machine for sure. The original giant killer....pre-RD350 days....maybe even pre R-5 days. The Avenger could throw something like 45 or 47hp on a 320lb bike. Amazing. We never finished it before selling it, but it was fun to work on.Suzuki, however, holds the title of coolest and weirdest rot
Boy - those are hard to find. Wow. Can't believe you're selling!Don't need/want, but free bump for rare-as-shit stuff.
Just passing on what I see on CL every now and then.Looks nice and the price is about right.http://worcester.craigslist.org/mcy/4712882784.html
Godddammmnnnn that is nice.Good price too.GLWS.
Oh, man....I wish you were a lot closer to me. I have EXACTLY what you're looking for: a WHOLE Sparta Foxi custom project that I may never get to finishing. I have the whole thing. Custom welded frame for a Techno Boss pipe, 5 stars with a swing arm re-worked to fit them, stripped and primed tank, forks, chopped seat area on the frame that fits a Ciao seat. It's going to look awesome.Cr
Yeah? like this one? 5spd? What type of performance are we talking about here?And..haha....yeah, man...didn't see that on first look. That head is GIANT.
Haha! This is great.Yet again evidence that great things happen to great people.Epic, man. Awesome.
Not mine, but thought folks might be interested. Looks pretty freakin' awesome if you ask me. Never seen one like that. 5-spd!In any case...there it is: http://albany.craigslist.org/mcy/4534307902.html
Duuuuuuude........welcome to the ZRX club. Looks like an '04 or '05? I've got an '02 and it's the best thing to happen to me since vaginas. Yeah, not as lightning fast as a good R1, CRB1000, or GSXR1000, or obviously any Ducati, but it'll hang just fine. It's a muscle bike, really. Huge torque. Comfy as hell. Lots of old guys in their 50's ride them - reliv
This has been one of the most entertaining WC's in a long time. I've watched them all since '94...I remember Baggio putting it over the bar. Wow.The US have been the story of the cup so far, I would think. Most, if not all, thought they would be 0-3 and headed home...but they were 15 secs from being 2-0 and likely winning the group. They're still in good shape. Only if Ghana go
Yep - I'm going too lean, actually...especially if it recovers after a while.Air leak...
Bublitz got trolled.....hard. LOL.
Oh man. That is really awesome. Where did you find that, Michael?Look at those forks. Finally Motobecane discovered that their toothpick forks were terrible and upgraded. Those look like Peugeot forks almost.Damn. That is nice. I would ride the shit out of that!Shame I'm in financial jail right now because I just bought a HOUSE! Actually not too far away from Wilbraham...I'll be up in Co
Absolutely EPIC score, man. What'd it cost ya?
Hey, Plumber....so I'm in the same market as you are....looking at foreclosed houses. It's the WILD WEST, as you're discovering...and the process to actually acquire one can take up to, and sometimes over a year. It's good news that the place is unoccupied. If it wasn't you would have to battle with the tenants for a loooong time (the laws are really in their favor..and rig
Yeah, ton of work and that pipe is definitely going to get knocked off at some point...
Wow...Just...Wow.Is that really a 3spd malaguti on there, though? Holy smokes. Love, love, love this.OMFG……..DID ANYONE ELSE SEE THIS???????????????
This is a tough one...I re-read everything and...are you running points or a CDI? If points, replace the condenser and regap the points and time it perfectly. If CDI, then you have a bad box, as folks have said before. Return it to Treats or get replacement parts. This does feel like a fuel issue, though. You are definitely running out of gas, not the opposite. Your main jet is likely fine. I had a
