I'm looking for stock large port korado or supermaxi cylinders. Preferably with pistons, but not required.I'm also interested in a set of korado cases if there are any out there. As always, the price I'm willing to pay is based on condition. Send pics and I'll send a price.

I've owned two. They both had oil injection. Both of mine were baby blue, auto start engine, oil injection, oil tank under the rear rack. Basically identical bikes from different states (one PA, one NY) so I assume they were both original. Both were 1978 models.Parts are difficult to come by. I traded one engine for a normal E50 because it needed a crank and the other guy needed parts. The ot

I'm fairly certain it isn't an issue with the carburetors. The stock carburetors are Mikuni VM26s. It's basically just one size up. Believe it or not, the intake has more cross sectional area than the carburetor. I'm only one size above stock as they don't make a 27mm carb.I'm running the same setup (except 30mm) on my R5 and it runs great. Jetting is obviously higher

Rebel Moby, this bike is a piston port, so no reeds to check unfortunately. It doesn't appear to be backfiring.I think at this point, I think I'll take Ken's advice and pull the top end to check the rings and piston wear. Everything seemed pretty tight when I assembled it last year and it isn't rattling. I wish I could throw the stock carbs back on to see if it helps.I have an

I've been working on a Suzuki T250 on and off for the past 2 years or so and have been having a problem with blowback out the carbs. The problem appears to be getting worse as I ride it. For anyone familiar with this bike, I have a few upgrades:Kawasaki H1 heads, machined squish to fit28mm oko carbs (stock ones were corroded beyond repair)K&N filter on Y bootI've played with jetting,

I'm trying to earn a little extra cash for Baker's Dozen, so up for sale is my 1977 Benelli Blazer. Only 9 miles on the odometer. It appears all original other than the left handlebar levers which have been replaced. It has everything down to the original CEV bulbs. The bike runs and everything works.Comes with a NY transferable registration and fork keys. It's located in Rochester N

I never realized how tiny they were. All I remembered is how pricey they are on 50cc.nl. Those Jolly Motos will be hard to find because they're really big $ when new ($425 plus shipping) and the homoet 6P/8P is a better and cheaper pipe if you're ordering from 50cc.nl anyway. If you want a really nice pipe, why not just run a Peugeot SPX doppler pipe?

I'm not sure what changed between V1 and V6.3 but the medium springs worked well in my V1 jammer in my hero kit build and the high springs worked best in my gila setup. My guess is that the weakest springs should be too weak, not too strong. If it were mine, I would pull it apart and look for anything that might be loose or hanging up. Look for odd wear marks. The beauty of the Jammer is the s

Moby mags don't use bolts. They're rivets so you can't just unscrew them. When I took mine apart, I ground the rivet heads down with an angle grinder (a dremel may be better suited for this) and tapped the pins out with a punch. Once the pins are out, it just falls apart. You can replace the rivets with hardened m6 hardware. I put a spot of weld on each new nut to keep them from vib

Definitely not NOS (obviously). The piston is cut too short - not salvageable. The cylinder looks like somebody was running it without an air filter. Those look like scratches from dirt/sand. The cylinder is most definitely runnable, but you're going to need to hone it to break in new rings.I would contact the seller, give him a day or two to resolve the issue, and if it doesn't get reso

I can't say on your particular bike, but an e50 is a 1 speed. It's possible that somebody swapped a 2 speed engine onto it though. My guess is that it still isn't jetted quite right. Your throttle response should be clean and crisp with no hesitation. If you haven't already, try to find a friend with a timing light and double check your timing. You do have a CDI right? Some of th

I have another quick question, is a motorcycle endorsement required for moped riders in LA, TX, and CA if it isn't required in the state that they're from/registered in? I have a friend who wants to team up but doesn't have a MC endorsement on his license.Maitland, I sent you a couple emails, but didn't get a response.

The NYS written test was exactly the same as the regular driver's test with the exception of two motorcycle specific questions. You could literally miss every motorcycle related question and still pass. The motorcycle road test is really easy if you've been driving mopeds for years.
