Arent you two a little young to be riding them peds? It looks like the smaller of you two probaly cant even walk yet.I would wait until you are older before trying to squeeze some extra ponies out of your war stallions. Just keep riding your peds in their stock forms.... you dont want to get in over your heads.Remember - be cool - stay in school!!

How difficult is to make a custom intake? I have a guy that lives near me with a metal fabrication shop, seems pretty talented. The actual job or fabricating an intake should not be so touogh…I have a Tomos A3, that I want to slap a 15.5 delorto on. I want to have the intake point out towards the front of the motor and offset to the side a bit.I started to do some research on polishin

Are there any cool Offset 15.5 intakes that would get the carb out from under the frame to make jetting/tuning easier?

I have a 1983 Tomos A3. It’s in really good shape, and worthy of some mods.I have done lots of searching and reading, but still am not clear on what to do for an upgrade. It seems as if the kit choices are limited, without having to swap engine parts, get an actual A35 engine, or mess with the wrist pin (10mm vs 12 for most kits), all of which sound out of my league. Now here is my questi

Its a 1983 that had had the oil injector, which has been removed and intake/injection port tube has been sealed. Is this still too old of a motor??How much would it be for an A35 engine if I needed to go that route?

Yeah, I was thinking about going all the way.- piston/head kit- exhaust- carb- intake-high flow air cleaner- those chrome forks with the disk brakes- heavy duty shocks- re-gear-Raepaint the frame-cafe bars

I have a tomos A3 and am thinking about throwing a kit on it this winter for a project. The ped is in pretty good shape. Is the A3 motor worth the $$$ for this kind of project?

19. Re: Wat else can i do to get my top speed up

jc — 14 years ago
Forum: Performance
If you are real serious, I would suggest dropping a V8 Chevey small block into your frame. Holey 4 barrel carb, edelbroch headers and exhausts, bow it, port it, stack it. and whack it. dont forget your no2 for your street cred.

20. Re: Tomos a 35 upgrades to the max

CJ — 14 years ago
Forum: Performance
To get the right jet size, divide your weight by 2, and then round up to the next avialable jet size. If your looking for extreme speed, just put in the size jet that matche the speed you are looking for. 100 jet size = 100 miles per hour.

Some guy told me to do this to my FA50, has anyone else done it?Port one of them to the moon. Raise the exhaust, lower the intake, shorten the skirt on the intake side of the piston. Turn the head in a lathe and reduce the combustion chamber volume. Get an expansion chamber off of a little hot rod 2 stroke 50 of some sort, cut it up and weld it together so it looks kind of custom. Chuck the carb u

Well, upon further investigation, and use of the search button, I am still stumped. It actually appears that the gas is leaking out of the bottom of the brand new petcock.I think its leaking from around the dial/level/petcock positioner. From the bottom of it, not from the connection between the petcock and tank.Believe me, I have spent sometime with a flashlight, paper towels, and lots of spilled

I just got a new step through Tomos Petcock from 1977 you know who.it has three parts. The petcock, a nut on the pet cock, and a rubber washer.Whats the order on the install?i did: petcock, nut, washer, put some gas in the tank and spilled gas all over my floor, which made made frantically run to turn off my propane sit on top heater for fear of a hiroshima incident as gas spilled on my garage f

is it the top or bottom ring? You really only need one to make your motor run. They have two because they use one as a back up. Now its ok to run your motor like this, but I would not advise trying to race a corvette or do burn outs in front of your crew.in one of your previuos posts, you mentioned that once you got you led running sgian, you would share some good new with uld be willing to he

inconsiderate Internet posting leads to broken rings, oily plugs, bad grades in school, which then lead to poor comprehension, which leads to the inabilty to realize that one must provide a two stroke motor a proper mixture of gasoline and oil. This may also lead to acne and lower social standing. Please talk to your mother, pastor, school counselor, or even to those voices that live inyour head
