My friend is breaking in the same setup 16SHA stock filter metra65 techno bullet. 73 was lean hes got a 77 now. I would start with at least an 80 if your breaking in. Ive gone though two different filters a k&n style and a short uni style. Gotta look around.

I fixed that air leak at the carb with a thicker o-ring and smashing the carb against the intake then tightening it very tight as I pressed it on. I hate SHAs.

I put it on a 504 bottom end with the 505d intake and a 16mm Del. !7mm will be fine. Had to run a really thick gasket to get the piston to clear the top. Nice kit.

They can be made to fit. I didnt here any great results that made me want to buy one over a bullet. They got mixed reviews. Motomatic did or is making a sachs pipe. Not cheap but great quality from what ive seen.

They are 10mm on the eyes which seems to be the common size. The only thing Im worried about is the diameter of the shock. Not a whole lot of clearance. I had to ride a bike tonight! I miss my moped.

Awesome thats what I was planning on. Thanks

Ive got suspension trouble. Cracked a rear shock. I need something heavy duty. Anyone know the exact size or where I can get after market replacements? Something a little stiffer. Also I was wondering if anyone knows how to replace the hydraulic fluid in the front shocks. Anyone got a link to a service manual? Really need help. Its my only transportation right now. Thanks

Interesting. Is this a common problem with the cheaper kits? Hes tried all kinds of gaskets and ended up cutting some really thick ones for the base gasket. Like 1mm thick. Seems to be the only way to get the piston to clear the head. As far as the head gasket hes using the one it came with. Aluminum. Thanks for the help.

This is exactly what i want to do! Is that the mollosi 4 petal intake in that pic? Does anyone know what angle that it will point at on an a35 jug and bottom end? Not worried about clearing the frame just worried its gonna point down.

Things ive noticed with this kit so far. My decompression valve seems to be getting stuck open. Have to actually pull it closed. Think im gonna plug it. Running a pretty thick base gasket and ive noticed the piston has tapped the spark plug a bit. Perhaps I over tightened the jug. No air leaks and ive got a gray plug on a dellorto 78 jet. Spittin up gas I dont get why its lean. One thing I will sa

I didnt have to shave the fins at all with the 505 intake. With the 504 and adapter it should be even higher.

505 intake face it forward with a 16mm carb. Thats what i did.:)

And brake light right? Only one sensor.
David — 14 years ago

Ive seen both types of clutch discs. Spartaman did have them but the metal backed ones he has are worn. I was thinking of ordering some and having them resurfaced. Anyone know the thickness of the metal on those? Then you could have them resurfaced thinner and only use the thin metal plates between them.

Soft seized. Lame. Beware the air leak. Rebuilt. Worried.

The 505 intake sits flat where the 504 sits on a diagonal. Thats why they give you the adapter. The jug is flat like a 505. Generally speaking. Ive heard of some 505s with the diagonal 504 style intake port. Anyways on a sparta foxi its diagonal style intake so you will have to use the adapter. You can make it face either way but you will have to do a little filing for max performance facing forw

There are main, idle, and needles for tuning. I believe the power jet is on the 24 only if Im not mistaken. Which I think you should run with a four petal reed cage. Put Sachs on the map! Hes out of stock but im sure he'll get more. Talk to the Sacramento guys they've been tuning those carbs for a while.

Go oko 21 maybe even 24. Jets aren't an issue. You can use khein jets or how ever you say it. The problem will be making an intake if that's a problem. I haven't heard a bad thing about them.

Its a really nice kit. I just put it on a few hours ago and im breaking it in. You could you the spacer to flip the intake but it doesn't line up quite right. Its actually an adapter for using a diagonal 504 intake facing back. It does give a good amount of height to run a dellorto on there. I used a 505 intake flipped forward didn't have to shave any fins. I'm running a dellorto 16

Has anyone actually had one blow up or are you talking about the nut coming off or slipping like crazy. I just put my Autisia on and its really cool. A well built kit. My clutch was slipping before I put it on but ill rebuild it. Cant wait till its broken in. Any thoughts on adding wait to the donut? I was thinking of adding thick segments of steel wire inside the donut. Multiple short segments th
